  1. Just isn't strong enough to finish his leg attacks consistently at 41, you can tell the size difference is tough on him.
  2. Ben Stewart vs Parris, his freshman year.. that match really opened a lot of ppls eyes.
  3. Thompson beat me my sophmore year and we were in course to wrestle in regional finals my jr year but I lost to Barnhizer in one of our many wars that ended in 6-4 score every single time we wrestled, in the semis and Thomson beat Barnhizer in the finals.. James actually lost on semi state finals to my team mate Terrell coatie, James SS runner up year after Terrell pinned Danny Williams in the semis..I had beaten James in FS that summer prior iirc.. Thompson was one the best I seen not make it to state, you talk about a tank, I've never seen a 45 pounder as wide as he was tall and he had a motor on him.. I even felt bad for him when he didn't make it through, I lost to Jerry Gordon in a war in 03' who went on to get 6th coincidentally losing to James for 5th and 6th... James then was upset on Friday night the following year by Whittington who was a 4th seed by pin.. Jaggers dad, Uncle Bob told me about Thompson night before I wrestled him and I'll never forget him telling me "Son I know you are a strong young man but tomorrow vs Thompson that isn't going to work out too well, if you try to muscle the ball of muscle you're facing".. He was correct, he was a stud in every sense of the word and I rarely felt that kinda horsepower in a match.. And Uncle Bob told me when I lost 10-5 "Told ya so"
  4. Def one the best to never win it as well, both were so fun to watch.
  5. Trizton Carson vs Kam Fuller Trizton had separated his shoulder multiple times in the match and rode Fuller and a 2 point lead till last 30 secs where he was hot with a dump series and couldn't defend it and lost in the final secs not once thinking about INJ def and having to be carried off the mat.. Following year Carson vs 35-1 #4 Kemper @182 Triz was on a terror tech and pinning everybody up through conference where he tore his Miniscus and had gut his way through the state tourney where he knocked off Kemper in UTB in the ticket round on essentially 1 leg.. Kid had worst luck with injuries but never quit.
  6. Just a fancy way of saying up 15 when the pin was obtained.
  7. Only us sausage finger allum can decipher our fellow brethrens Sausage code
  8. Close, an assassin is what I was told, didn't get to see that match , running around and unfortunately missed it
  9. @160 #16 East Centrals Euson knocks off #11 previously unbeaten Calderon of Centerville 9-2
  10. #9@145 East Centrals Searcy pins Centrevilles #8 Frazier in first period 1:53 for the regional title!
  11. #8@132 Thrine tech pins #8NCSS Otto for his 2nd Regional title @5:02 congrats kiddo, as always I'm proud kiddo, love ya!!
  12. #8@132 Thrine takes care of business beating the always tough Andrew Merritt 8-1 to make the his 3rd straight regional finals appearance vs #8NCSS Otto.
  13. Yes and he avenged his earlier loss to Jon boy as well.
  14. Glad he's okay and Godspeed on the recovery!
  15. Calderon vs Maiden has to be in there.. Calderon finds a way to win in the closest matches and I look for him to punch his state ticket this year.
  16. I agree whole heartedly and this starts with holding them accountable through the entire process, no matter how young or old they are.
  17. My condolences to him and his family, friends and wrestlers.. The Brickie Mascot is him!
