Common sense is not very common these days. Maybe we should be teaching our kids common sense? That would be something of value! -

Here is where I have a problem with those of you who say. "Well it is a rule so we have it enforce it all. the time". Us as adults have seem to have lost our common sense. Rules say that every situation has be treaded in the exact same way. The gray area is gone. The real truth is that most of life is lived in the gray areas. If someone breaks a rule because they are trying to cheat. They are clearly wrong. If someone breaks a rule by accident or has no gain from breaking the rule. We might just want to give them a warning. -

Does anyone know how the ISHAA keeps track of the wrestlers weights from week to week? Is this the honor system or is there something more rigid put in place?

Anyone have any story's of times in your career when you cut and when you didn't cut. How much you did or didn't cut and what were your results. Please compare your results to the highest level of possible.

I think you are going to find that espically in the ligher weights. Guys will be changing quite a bit. From 126-113 there will be a lot of changers. I can tell you for sure that Jack Chastain will not be at 106.

Coach Hull Did anyone tape the Greco matches? I would love to see a highlight viedo of all of the 5's. I heard a few of them were pretty sick!

I finally had a chance to talk to my son about this trip. He had a great experience. A special thanks to the coaches and the ISWA for organizing it. We may not have won all of our matches but it sounds like we may have been one of the top throwing teams there. The Greco team ended up with 12 five point throws. That is very impressive at that level.

Just based on his record from last year. Top 8 at any weight may be a little strong of a statement. If he ends up at 125 or 132. That could be very hard.

Jake did very well this weekend too. He wrestled my son (Jack Chastain) in the semi-finals. He is great in those funky scramble positions. Jake has a bright future. He seems like a very nice young man. It is always nice to see good kids do well!

The 2 could not be more different in style. CJ is a lot more athletic than Tommy. Tommy's style is just Tommy's style. He is so difficult to score on. If they were the exact same size I have no idea who would win. But if they wrestle tomorrow. My money is on Cash. Of course I would bet Cash is close to 12o today. They both are awesome wrestlers.
