    I hope you are kidding, Phillips has a first round forfeit. There are only 7 hvy's as it is. 6 of them are seeded which left the 7th to be randomly drawn in, into either a 2nd round match with the 1 or 2 seed. It was 50/50 as to who he could get. Really difficult stuff here.

    I know Union County had 1 senior, and FF'ed 106 all year. That leaves 12 returning starters.

    Duh, what do you think people make decisions based off of? Guesses? The statistics would dictate the class sports makes sense, for all sports, team and or individual.

    I have no kids that wrestle. I do however, believe that small schools by a huge majority can't compete, with larger schools. Some can for a year, maybe two. Not just at wrestling, but most all sports. Small schools have all coaches trying to get kids to their sport, why, because there isn't a huge number of potential athletes to begin with. Here, going to the established RTC, camps, clinics, wrestling academies, is a couple hours drive, each way. Individually, yeah, at times a small school will have an elite wrestler, as most all schools do, with larger schools having the elite more often.

    Golf, 5 starts, only 4 scores count. Wrestling 14 starters, all scores count. Yeah, Identical logic.

    Duh, but the IHSAA isn't, they did away with the " team ". It took coaches association to decide to class it. Ask the coaches if individual should be classed, and I'd wager it would get passed. But, the IHSAA is a hard wall to knock down.

    There is no IHSAA classed team version. WTF you smoking?

    Nate Trawick of Richmond HVY, 3rd year wrestler. Freshman year I watched a match early in the year, where he couldn't even get ready without being dinged for a caution. Standing, referee position, anything. And by the end of that year made it to semi-state, and again last year, this year making it to state. Local paper says he benches 420 and very athletic.

    LMAO, Yeah, I hate PM. Yorktown got all 14 in finals in there sectional, so I will go ahead and hate them as well. I believe there sectional is weak also, there just isn't much depth after them either. If saying, after PM an Yorktown in there own sectionals, that the rest is weak, is the same as me hating, then it's a done deal, I'm a hater.

    No one is saying PM is weak, or not a great team, IMO, just the overall toughness of the sectional is weak.

    They had 14 in finals of a very weak sectional, overall. Regionals was a given. I forgot who you were, now I understand the idiocy of thoughts. Good day.
