  1. I see it was edited at 182 from Dec. 3 2011, to Nov. 23, 2011. That makes more sense.
  2. Congrats to all the Indiana kids. Looked like a good day of wrestling.
  3. Did not even see Andre Richards in action yesterday. Was he even there?
  4. Wow Jake Stevenson is down at 138. He was a beast at 155 in Middle School.
  5. Just hoping they're not injured.
  6. Saw Danville/Cascade results. Did not see mention of Molloy or Montgomery. Anyone know whats up?
  7. I missed out BIG TIME, my oldest does turn 20 the day AFTER State this year! Too bad its his 2nd year of COLLEGE, shoulda held him back twice!
  8. Saw a lot of Indiana guys in both the frosh/soph and open division. Good luck to all this season.
  9. Relax Lowell crew, including SHANE TUCKER. It was just an observation from MS state last year. If you really want, you can hold them back one more year.
  10. These guys are no doubt great wrestlers, but were'nt they 8th graders last year?
  11. Evansville Mater Dei Classic is a great tournament. Great atmosphere, great teams (Franklin, Avon, Mater Dei, Memorial) and Union County and Trinity from Kentucky. Don't kid yourselves these Ky. boys can wrestle!
  12. Agree with all the above. Speaking of Stevenson what about the one from Franklin, Jake?
  13. Lets face it the majority of high school kids are immature anyway, let alone their frosh year. Redshirting is DEFINATELY done to increase someones chance of sports dominance. Its no wonder you seem to see it more in the wrestling and football world where physical maturity and strength come into play. As long as the IHSAA allows kids to graduate at 20 people will use it to their advantage so junior can be the dominate one.
  14. I thought C. James was still an 8th grader
  15. I actually agree with Caliboy/DemOguy/Wc182Dad!
  16. Sliga is a national caliber wrestler, I am sure he had many reasons not to attend.
  17. Could not agree more! It seems the practice of "redshirting" is becoming accepted as more and more kids seem to repeat 8th grade.
  18. the new weight classes will be a breath of fresh air for the sport!
  19. When will these weight class changes likely be incorporated into USA wrestling (ISWA)?
  20. C'mon somebody has got to know if the NFHS has officially changed the weight classes. Maybe it was on another post, but if it was I missed it. Any help?
  21. If its true and the new weight classes have been approved, when will Indiana come in line , if ever?
