  1. Yes. I still would vote no to class wrestling. Unless it can be classed only for the team side then no way am I for it.
  2. This is pretty simple. Take the total amount of minutes youve been logged in and divide it by your post thus you have your post per minute. I just noticed how long I have been longed on and my rather low posting total and wanted to see where everyone else stands. My rate= 1101 minutes/33 posts = 1 post per 33.36 minutes. Apparrently I enjoy reading
  3. When I seen that you were the last one to post on this thread I KNEW I had to read this. You know as much about the level of wrestling in this state as anyone else and I always look forward to what you have to say about the best that Indiana has to offer. I was sort of SHOCKED when Fabio claimed he thought wrestling was down this year. Top to bottom there is more depth than ever if you look across the state. I could not agree more with you Dingo.
  4. Nice, but I do enjoy a little piece of memorabilia from the tourney. I am always looking for ways to save though. And if there were to serve beer, I certainly wouldnt have a 5 year streak of buying nothing at conseco.
  5. Both = RIP OFF.....I will be going for an unprecedented 5th year in a row w/o spening money at conseco besides the tickets and program. A water fountain is a man's best friend.
  6. Merrillville also has a legitimate shot at taking every weight you mentioned. 103 Ayersman 119 Brooks 125 Tsirtsis 140 Sandefer, Hall 145 Young 171 Atwood Obviously not giong to say the Merrillville s.s. will win all these weight classes but they will take at least 2 or 3. In total, I would say M'ville will crown a minimum 8 state champions. Just my opinion though
  7. I cant even say I am surprised by what Howe does anymore. The sky is the limit for him and I cant wait to see how he does the rest of the season.
  8. Everyone is not near as split as you thought ontherise. Roach 63 to Dillon 17 so far. I am #63 for roach. Honestly, I dont see this match as a toss up but thats just me. 7-4 Roach
  9. What time are the finals scheduled to start?
  10. who was at fault? From the sound of it, there are 3 people that could be at fault here. 1- the ref for not calling it if it was in fact a fall, 2- Estrada for not getting the fall when he had the chance, 3- McMurray for allowing himself to get caught in a position to give up the fall ;D You get a well deserved wahoo on that one WarrenDad.
  11. This is who came to my mind when I seen this topic. He always seems to "coach em up" and get the best out of his kids when he needs it.
  12. Both of you think Cataldo will beat Trujillo huh? Havent seen Trujillo wrestle in two years but if I was a bettin man (I am by the way) I would lay it on him over Cataldo. I have been wrong before though and I hope I am again here.
  13. And no I dont think I am going to make it back this weekend Scott. GL to you and your team though and if you make it to Merrillville I might see you there.
  14. You sound bitter to me. I let my days go and so should you. Bryan Powlen only wrestled for 5 years and like most upper weight classes grew into his body later on. I still stick with what I say.
  15. But not when it counts..... I havent been first hand for the matchups, only what I see in results and at individual state. Some people may not like stats, but they dont lie and Maldonado's stats certainly make him the best coach in "Da Region" as Da Rat would say. With that being said, it would probably be a big disappointment if CP doesn't advance. Too much talent to not produce.
  16. Has your 135lber wrestle any of those guys from the Laf. Sectional?
  17. Not to be mean and all Devildog as I appreciate your services too, but Bryan Powlen improved immensely in his 5 years of wrestling and probably would have beat you with his top game alone the year you speak of. There weren't too many 215'ers that could run the legs as effectively as him his senior year. As for this weekend's regional I am "out of the loop" for the first time in awhile for this area. Hopefully the TL sectional can turn it around from years past, but I expect from seeing the brackets and past names that it will be more of the same.
  18. Actually, I finished 1st among non-regional pickers. I dont think I will spare you guys the 1700 points this time.
  19. Favorite part is how he said his goal is to Be National Champion. Just shows that hes not intimidated and believes he is capable of winning everytime he steps on the mat.
  20. I personally love the new list. Something I find interesting is that the "gurus" have Roach at 3, and Johnny Dillon nowhere on the list. I have no problem with Roach being at #3 and think he will walk away with his first title. Just thought it was interesting since Ive seen quite a few people pick Dillon.
  21. At least we did all we could ;D. Also GL this weekend Scott.
  22. No McMurray huh? I find that a little surprising.
  23. 119 is stacked. Anyone who places high at state will certainly have earned it. There will probably be three state champs in the bracket, and I wont be picking any of them....
  24. The weight class was 125. I had the pleasure of being the regional champ to face Mendez in the ticket round.
