  2. I have never posted on this board nor will I again. Jim I love you guys and I loved coaching jimmy but the way you remember things and what happened is not accurate. Families choose to do what they think is best for their kids, As you chose to do and as others have done in many programs. Let's stop this nonsense and keep this about the kids, they have earned it. Respectfully, Matt Schoettle
  3. Quinn We are so sorry to hear about this. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. The Tonte Family
  4. we here at PM are thinking of you and your family at this time. Just a tough tough time. Our prayers. Coach T
  5. Great suggestion. We will work on that. We actually have the bands. Riley McClurg did them last year but we can expand them to RTC and such. Thanks and good luck to Skylor Saturday.
  6. Congrats Tom. Such an honor. People now do not realize what impact guys like John Hurrle and his coach Chauncey McDaniels had on today's wrestling. I grew up wrestling Saturdays at Tech High School at freestyle state and every other weekend at a clinic or tournament thanks to coach Hurrle. My college roommate , Darren Arberry, was really close to coach Hurrle. His motto still holds true today. We do this " for the kids". Congrats Tom. Thanks for your dedication to kids and wrestling.
  7. Jared Brooks fights Saturday night at the Wyndam(Adams mark) hotel in Indy. If you say that Perry Meridian invited you PM helps raise money for program and for Coach Thornton's cancer.
  8. PM 106 Roming Thalop lost by two in wrestle off with Hawkins 120DJ Brookbank. Lost in dec to timbermàn in Brownsburg pre season tourney 126 Kain Rust (had wrong info on Kain. Looking at wrong bracket). Tough kid. 132 and 138 Nugn and Napier 145 kyler Fleener placed in county last year in place of Cody L. When he was sick. Even better this year 152 Garrett Milner. Three one or two point losses to Michael Thomas in wrestle offs 160 Jared Lex CCC champ, county placer. 15-4 when beat out by Wilson and spur 170 Kyle Spurr. Could be at 160. Cadet freestyle and Greco state champ Hw Blake Schjoll. Beat quin York last spring and beat brogan from warren two times
  9. I'm going with my boy Coach Thornton. Not only because he is the smartest guy I know but also because this is the way we have been doing it for years. BCA
  10. If I could add I would like to say that Dave has and always will bleed Perry Blue. He is truly about the kids and about wrestling and I would encourage all to help us out by sending prayers, notes, and yes, very much needed financial support if possible. Dave and his three lovely ladies at home(his wife, Allison, and two young daughters, Ansley and Ellery) could use all the support they can get. We love Dave and we know that if anyone can beat this damn thing its SuperDave!!!! Coach Tonte
  11. Either is my ankle and back and knee....haha. Sucks getting old

  16. Perry Meridian will host a sneak preview of the 2013-14 season with the Blue Silver inter squad meet starting at 6 PM Tuesday night in the main gym. Lots of festivities including fundraisers for Coach Thornton's cancer medical expenses. Hope to see you there.

  19. Also with LeCount and Winfield with Micic it would have been even better than the 5th place finish that we earned.

  21. Nick will be running RTC with Team Indiana trips in mind. Having had the opportunity to coach Nick as a young high school wrestler in National tournaments and see him come back to Indiana to coach has been an awesome transition to see. Nick has an outstanding resume which includes: 3 time IHSAA state placewinner-7th, 2nd and State Champ. High School All American, 2 time NJCAA All American, ISWA Coach of the Year, 2 time freestyle and Greco state champ, Current Greco Director for state and asst. team leader and head coach for Jr duals team. Lots of experience in a short amound of time. Always a great clinician. See everyone tonight at 6 pm.
