I was watching an old episode of Dr. G the other day (which I actually had seen before) and she had to do an autopsy on a 12 yr. old they thought killed him self, turns out he was playing the "chocking game" ,so no one is too young. My boys are 12 so I decided to speak to them about it again, because I have heard of it too many times before. Just keep talking one day, when you least expect it they will hear you.
I would try and get there except little league finals are going on right now too. Then all-star........ don't think this seasons ever going to end. Good luck.
I think that the feeling is if the kids do nothing but wresting (ie no other sports) thats what will burn the kids out on wrestling. My kids are 3 sport athletes and probably always will be. I don't know maybe I'm wrong but thats the feeling I get.
From what I understand you can get "ears" doing just about anything. Falling off a bike comes to mind. *shrugs* but I don't know for sure, I keep telling on of my boys he's going to get it simply because he plays with his ears when he's watching t.v. ;D
