  1. ummm. Didn't you just do that? Scottsburg wins rather handily.
  2. 171 - Browner(Jeff) may be alittle low, but will see how he fairs against some of these kids ahead of him. Gotta Love Neff(Yorktown) - 215. He has improved a great deal since we wrestled him in 8th grade. Both good kids from Good Programs. Glad to see these kids get recognized for their hard work, and the recognizers get recognized for their effort as well! Makes me want to hum and old Alabama song...
  3. It doesn't matter if all they have is 14 freshmen, they have a legacy of getting more with less. They build in the Mat Room. No one will touch Jeff(we did say the same thing last year too) but never count out a Floyd team
  4. Taylor (Mad) vs. Smith(Jeff) should be an exciting matchup. Smith leads the series 2-1 with all three matches decided by < 2 pts.
  5. Jeff should finish 7-0 Toss up Between Floyd Central and Jennings Co.. I'll go with Floyd 2nd and JC 3rd followed by Columbus East.
  6. Madison and Jennings Co. did not wrestle each other in the last round. Jennings Co. record should be 7-1 and Madison 2-6.
  7. I agree Triple B. This is a nicely ran Dual Tournament. 10 matches in two days. Quality competition. The only drawback is the 3 hour drive.
  8. Unless some sort of Devine Intervention is involved. Jeff will and should dominate this sectional. They are very talented in numerous weights. Struck has done a tremendous job rebuilding this program
  9. Our Heart goes out to Ashton and his family. Our hope is his imminent surgery goes well and he has a complete and full recovery. We have always thought Ashton is a great competitor and sportsman. After Dalton's season ending vertabrae fracture last season and an additional Heart Surgery in the spring, our faith in the wrestling community was evident. Sadly, this will be a long season for Ashton, and hope the fire burns for him to acheive his goals after his recovery. Jason Young/Dalton Young
  10. Yeah, 189 looks to be an interesting weight depending on who goes where...Duckworth, Atwood and Stevenson just to start it off.
  11. Foregt the grey. I'm all for Lime Green with Bright Pink Polka Pots. Nationwide.
  12. Yes. A BIG[glow=red,2,300][/glow] thanks to all the were on the beat and those behind the desk. All your efforts are greatly appreciated!
  13. tripleb says they are 2 hours behind schedule, semis on 4 mats, skipping weights. Told me he's ready to trade SS with Merrillville.
  14. I wonder how long the mods will keep this thread open? Nazi is a pretty derogatory term! Threads have been deleted in the past with the word "Ghetto" in the discussion, Right TripleB!
  15. How bout a forfeit breakdown by Regional. More fuel for the elminate 103 fire. Jeff Regional has 2 forfeits in the 103 regional.
  16. I just love to root for the Indiana boys, whether it be at IU, Purdue, Iowa, N. Iowa, Wisconsin, Mich. State, N. Ill., Ohio State, U of I or even Cornell, the list goes on. These young men are portraying the state of Indiana Wrestling in positive light on the mat, and showing an upward trend that Indiana wrestling is becoming more of a force to contend with.
  17. Thanks. He'll bounce back. Kids are resilient.
  18. Let's not forget Robin Williams in "The World according to Garp" earlly 80's folks. I heard my first, albeit ornery basketball joke from that movie...
  19. unbiased, eh? I applaud you for your picks, in your heart, you hope and sometimes pray for the best possible outcome for your wrestlers(this applies to everyone) but in your mind, you know there may have to be some devine intervention somewhere in there. Unfortunately, My #1 is relocated to managerial duties since a snowboarding accident resulted in a fractured vertabrae. Needless to say, Good luck to all 9 teams, with the weather and school cancellations all week, I think everyone could use a little bit of luck. In my heart, Madison DOES have 13 champions.
  20. I think Jennings and North will have four champs each. Yes these are just predictions and anything can and will happen.
  21. Thanks. Not very often I'm right. Not gonna broadcast my predictions other than which schools should send the most to Reg. CN - 11 JC - 10 MA - 9 CE - 8
  22. I only have Madison results Madison 43 Indian Creek 33 Madison 24 Martinsville 51 Madison 48 Southwestern 21 Madison 20 New Palenstine 53
