Coach Peck, Before it gets mentioned I will state that I have never attended one of these meetings in Indy but do come to the clinics. My question is this. Do we have reps from all areas of the state? Then, what are the responsibilities of these reps? We do have men who have volunteered for positions like President, VP, Sec., and reps. Wouldn't it be thier job to put together a Dual Team State since they have decided to take on those task? Just trying to get answers.

AJ, I think the negative comments come because we have tournaments around the state that are really good and display the top teams in the state. Al Smith, Bellmont duals, and the North Mont duals are all great meets and showcase the states best teams. Not saying the Hall of Fame is bad for wrestling but is far from where we were a month ago at the clinic.

Conditioning myself to stay away from the dinner table.

Jay County Elementary Wrestling Team will be hosting a golf scramble at Portland Country Club on September 17 beginning at 8 am. $200 per team of 4. Prizes will be given away with lunch following. Would it be possible to run the team state in the same format that the currnet team series is being ran? Start the week after sectional and run the next 4 weeks.

This may have been answered already but what do you do with teams not affliated with a conference? I would suggest an all in 2 or 3 class team tournament.

Y2, I thought Alex Johns qualified for the DII Nationals last year.

No one has contacted Jay County and told them that they haven't been able to practice so I was told it will be just the 2lbs that we already have.

Give the kid his props. He won the sectional in a very deep class. Instead of faulting Ehr how about given Smith his due. He wrestled a great match. Good luck to all participants this weekend.

I don't recall ever being rushed out of the gym. We start at 8:30 and they push back the start time for the bb game to 7.

The 8:30 start time is not about being different or a pride thing. Every other year we have a home basketball game that the gym needs cleaned up for.
