As an MD fan, I was surprised about the scarce number of people in the stadium as well. I would agree to the fact on streaming takes fans away from being in-person.

Motion to strike this petition. It is great competition to have BB and CG in the Evansville semi-state. As an MD wrestling fanatic, I enjoy the strength of lineups both schools bring to Evansville every year.

I would never recommend anyone to go back and forth with a not so anonymous troll on a message board. But… there’s nothing like my annual bitch sla… errr … head butt that I put on you.
 

As I call it a night, I will sit here with the lovely Mrs. MattyB, in my estate, in my luxury bed. I can’t wait to get my good nights sleep so that I can get up to run my business, tell my boys I love them and am an actual proud dad. Then I’m going to the middle school to coach the middle school PainTrain. After that,  I’m probably gonna eat a big streak dinner and do it all over again.

 

With all of that said… as you sit in your leaking damp basement on your stained futon, with your mountains of bills and stag mags surrounding you, begging not so proud grandma to make you a spam sandwich, and taking jail house collect calls from your not so proud kids.  Sitting with your cracked IPad that you have to use to get murdered on this message board. I want you to know if your really down on your luck and need “bananas”…  I got you. Hell I give your family money every time I come down there. I always give a few bucks to those men and women at the ends of the exits. Heck I’ll start you a go fund me if you really need it. But.. to come full circle. I change my mind, if you really need bananas. I’ll give you a few.

Landon Horning lost in the semifinals to Brendan Elpers by fall?  TW shows horning was up 11-2 and lists the fall at 6:00.  Was it truly a last second comeback?  A reversal to a fall perhaps?

At first glance, don't see any other big upsets.  Is Vanover over Keegan Williams a mild upset?  Not sure on that one.

For Horning/Elpers, defensive pin. For those MD fans that remember Chris Wildeman v Richie Diggs state finals match, it was not the famous “Richie Diggs” move. Great win for Elpers. 
 

Wouldn’t call it much of an upset for Williams/Vanover, they have had close matches most of the time. See you next week, Mr Vanover!

Good point there... between the two, I think Schapker had a surprising weekend winning sectionals, and I don't think Johnson wrestled well last weekend on top of it. Johnson may take Alfano's spot now that I think about it.

I am surprised Bally's Sports Network isn't pushing for this event to be held in Evansville, since our casino is owned by Bally's as well. Just my two cents.
