Spoke w/ some Evansville peeps yesterday and Evansville is buzzing. The anticipation is that there will be a crazy amount of walk ups. Wrestling is massive in Evansville and the Southwest part of the state. Evansville is 2 hrs and 45 min from Indy, Mt Vernon is over 3 hours, i'm guessing most don't make that drive unless there's a personal connection to state. 

 

I think it's not crazy to say 2-3k fans in that area that don't normally make the the drive will attend this year. 

Those 2-3k fans may be the Westside of Evansville!

Overall toughest is Mooresville, but 150 at Castle is tough as well. Bonenberger from Evansville North pushed Vanover from MD in the sectional finals. Throw in Smith from HH in the mix and that makes for an exciting day at 150.

Reading the Sectional thread rang a bell in my head... has anyone heard about the potential changes (ie: ordering tickets ahead of time, no outside food, etc) are these true? If so, where are we supposed to order these tickets ahead of time?  I heard around the grapevine about the ordering of tickets ahead of time and was curious if that was hearsay or factual.

Ticket round 2015 EVSS: Austin Bethel pins Freshman Brayton Lee to punch his ticket. Ford Center was LOUD!! Lee would have most likely met another Lee from MD, Nick Lee, who would be your eventual state champion at that weight for the year.

Great write up, @hook and half. It is such a great rivalry across all sports. This type of rivalry is what makes high school sports so enjoyable to watch.
