You also spot them by:  
1.  Guys complaining about how far da drive to Indy is for their annual vacation.
2.  Critizicing the Logansport regional for not being tough enough and not sending enough guys to state.
3.   Try to get the Mullet at the local barbershop.
4.   You spot Da wrestling tattoo on the ankle.
5.   Trying to get their sandwich at the concession stand dipped in Gravy.
6.  You hear them saying the only reason the Indy schools are getting better is because Da coaches used to coach in DA "Region"
7.   Also at the concession stand, they're asking why the beer tap isn't tapped.
8.   You hear them say "Has it ever occurred when the  EC or the MV never had the most state champions.
9   You overhear them in the parking lot saying, " I cant believe that guy parked that nice car there in da public parking lot".

11.  "Haircut worked for Rick Springfield in 1982, it works for me now."
10.  Argues over what "Da Region's" boundaries are and are not.
9.  Criticizes Donald Trump for "having too small of an ego."
8.  Utters "Da Region" every third sentence.
7.  Orange-colored tan.
6.  If the family has three wrestling brothers or more separated by at least three years, each went to a different high school.
5.  Speaks Rat Pidgin English fluently.
4.  Slings gratuitous slurs toward Ft. Wayne semistate wrestlers.
3.  Their "Lavoris" smells oddly of garlic and horseradish.
2.  Can't count to 21 without removing pants.
 
And the number one way to identify a Region wrestling fan:  "It ain't a real Team State title unless a Region team won it, DUH!"

you definitely have some good points to your argument. I agree that Joe can be a little too agressive and it might put him in a bad predicament.

This is a record for BlueBolt; he got all the way to January 27 before he delivered his annual "Mater Dei ain't what they used to be" speech.  
 
Let's begin with the stipulation that this team does not match up to the 2003 team which had four state champs, a runner-up two thirds and a sixth.  Mater Dei has not had a team like that before, since, or likely ever again.   (Tip to Bluebolt:  This gives you grist for your next "Mater Dei is in decline" post).  This year's dual meet team is not as accomplished as last year's team; the 2015 team set an all-time MD record for points scored/dual and won the Team State Duals.  (Tip:  More grist for your "MD is in decline" post)
 
As far as 113,126,160-182, and 220-285 goes...as usual, you are fact deprived. In that group there are SIAC champs, a couple of likely sectional champs and maybe even a State Qualifier.  Virtually every one of those kids has beaten higher-seeded and/or ranked kids throughout the season.  The seven wrestlers you named could find a starting position on a large majority of Indiana's 300+ high school wrestling teams.
 
 
Your comments of:   "This not what i have seen in the past.  Take a look and tell me you don't see what i see", make you no less wrong.  Why?  Maybe because you do not pay attention.  Maybe because as a not-so-sly MD-hater, you are going to find a way to get in your trying-to-not-be-be-obvious-but-really-are digs in.  At the end of the day, your invective does not matter, the facts stand on their own.
 
This year's team consists of a couple of stars, solid wrestlers, up and comers and some guys of whom you have never heard, all of which are home-grown talent, from a school with about 270 boys.  In other words, the 2015/16 team is pretty much identical to most of the Mater Dei teams in its 66-year wrestling history.

I understand that some people are trolling. I guess you have the right to do that, if you please. But please be mindful that we are talking about a couple of high school kids here. Please do not bash either wrestler's courage or mental toughness.
 
Both wrestlers' have resumes that are shaping up in fashion for them to mentioned as some of the best wrestlers in Indiana history. Let's discuss their potential match up with the respect it deserves.
 
If this match up takes place and it isn't under the lights, it will be one of the biggest shams in IHSAA Wreslting history. I am all for a making a match like this the main event. If we can figure out a way to do so, I am all about a vote or petition. Maybe we could do something where fans voted the order of the weight classes in the championship match? It'd also be nice for the big guys to not have to go last and have half of the fans in Banker's Life already in their cars headed home.
 
Best of luck to Nick Lee, Chad Red, and everyone else at 132, especially all the seniors. I hope you all have a great state tournament run. Stay healthy, have fun, and leave it all out on the mat.
