Body language of Purdue coaches vs IU coaches was night and day. Regardless of situation, Ersland and co were up on their feet, very animated. IU coaches sat with their arms crossed.
-
Purdue's freshman class was pretty highly touted. I think they are on an upswing. I don't follow IU much though

I'd wager his girlfriend will get less attention than the matches being wrestled.

Hard not to root for Philpot and that mustache he's rocking.

I suppose I wasn't clear, but I meant everyone from top to bottom. It was more a statement of how ridiculous it is that people still harp on Mater Dei for recruiting when anyone who has ever tried to build a program knows how much work the coaches of any high level program put in.
My post was meant as a compliment to a great program. Sorry it wasn't taken as such

I'd love it if just to prove a point, the mater dei staff moved to a public school of similar size just to see how quickly they got back to being a powerhouse.

Personally I want to see Cain v Rhoades at 285. Might be some bias there though. Rose vs Horty at 113 and White vs Cummings should be great too.

Greensburg has a 3.5-4 hr drive to Evansville too. I think it's a cool venue but man, I hate that drive
-
I thought if we did it for state we'd have to do it from sectionals onward.
-
Jesse Hunter from Greensburg is out at 160 with mono. Just got the test back last night

Had to cleanup this topic due to some kids being idiots. Don't worry they got their whole school banned from IndianaMat.
Way to tread on their 1st ammendment rights Y2. (Joking of course. your site, your rules) although I personally found them quite entertaining.

Well he's the cousin our our 113 pounder, so I feel a bit obligated to talk him up a bit. I'd love for them to meet up at bankers life

The make a wish foundation couldn't even pull this off
You sir, win the Internet today

New Castle
113- whoever had the bad luck to draw Gavin Rose.

I was really surprised that the official made the call. That being said, I didn't think it was a bad call. I don't envy the guys working tight matches like that, especially in the postseason.
-
Congrats to a great program. That's stability that most schools can only dream of

Did those kids that won their first classed basketball tournament throw their trophy away though? I'd wager they were still ecstatic about winning a state title.

Avon's biscuits and gravy for breakfast along with chicken and noodles, chili and pulled pork is pretty good. And we are stepping it up every year so it will only get better. #TheCounty
If you want to take your pulled pork to the next level, you've got to get it straight off the farm.

145- Curtis Collins (Greensburg) dec. Evan Bullock (Brown County) 9-7

As a coach, I won't post predictions, but thanks Jesster125 for the praise on the Greensburg kids you mentioned
-
I would love to see a coach try to use that in a seeding meeting. I would hope that someone isn't that dumb and if they are the others in the meeting just laugh at him.
I agree it would be ridiculous, just don't ever want to get the short end of the stick if it happened to be a rule I didn't know about.

If an injured wrestler forfeits due to injury prior to the match starting, does it count as a head to head win for seeding purposes?
Because nobody reads the college board

If he keeps recruiting kids like Parriot... he'll get there. He looked dang good
