  3. The Assistant Principle, Dee Dowler, was my College roommate & teammate on the Indiana State baseball team
  4. Jason, My son, Easton, is a 5th grader 75#. He has been wrestling since he was 5 and watching and wrestling with his older brother (Owen Doster State Placer, 5th 132#, in '16 who is now at Wabash as a sophomore, returning 2017 All-American 7th @ Nationals) We are from Fort Wayne/New Haven area and he is very successful in this area in local opens and he plans to wrestle in the ISWA state both folk-style & freestyle this year. He is even going to give up seeing his brother at the NCAA DIII Championships (if he qualifies, which he should) to be able to wrestle at ISWA State. We have traveled this year a bit with the Indiana Outlaws to Pennsylvania and he wrestled at the NUWAYs in Fort Wayne (WOW those PA, NJ kids are good). The Heartlands was a tournament we both had noticed and he expressed interest to see if he could make the team and to see how he stacks up against some of the kids he may see later in high school. We will be in Crawfordsville for the NCAA DIII Regionals at Wabash on Friday the 23rd and Saturday the 24th, so this could work out for us since we would be close to Indy. I have printed off the info sheet and we will discuss as this is something i know he really wants to do. Owen wrestled for Team Indiana in Iowa also and little brother wants to follow in his path. Thanks again Jason for your insight and i hope we see you at the wrestle offs. Dave Doster
  5. Jason, How many kids do you usually get for these wrestle offs? Dave Doster
  6. Was a great time. Matches went smooth and kids all wrestled well.

  8. Did Michigan State change their mascot to a Hoosier ontherise219?? Good pick up for them!!
  9. As you all know Riley is pretty good at wrestling. But I have to tell you all of something i witnessed after the the event was over that tells more about this MAN!!. After the event was over and the parents, coaches, & team were all celebrating with the 3rd Place team trophy at a near by restaurant. I walked back to where I had been sitting with my youngest son Easton (Owen's brother). As i approach the table, here is Easton (age 10) and Riley in a full conversation. What other 4X NCAA champ sits with a 10 year old after he just made NCAA Wrestling history and talks about how Easton has been doing in his matches and asking how proud he was of his older brother being an All-American? This man is truly one of a kind not only on the mat but in his everyday life. Every event that we had went to this year to watch Owen and the Wabash team, Easton was in constant wrestling mode with one of the Lefever boys, wrestling around and fending for his life. It is a year that Easton or the whole Doster family will never forget. Wabash wrestling is about academics & team!! Wabash was the best decision our son made and the state of Indiana has a GEM in Wabash College. #WAF #onevision

  11. A good addition to the Wabash family! Welcome Kory!!
  12. What a great two days of wrestling. Manchester College did a great job of hosting and the Expo hall was a great venue. Hope they have it again!! Looking forward to Nationals in 2 weeks. #WAF #littlegiants #lacrossebound
  13. I believe all matches are archived and your password will work for a while. I believe i can still see my sons matches from last year.
  14. Is there a difference in the size of a high school mat and a middle school mat as far as dimensions? What are the dimensions if they are different?
  15. Going to be fun watching him next year with all the other Little Giants!!!
  16. My step dad witnessed a father trip down the stairs leading from the upper deck at the State Tourney last year at Bankers after his son got beat on a very questionable call. If you have been there, that is a long way down. He was running down the stairs and about 3/4 of the way down caught a foot and rolled the rest of the way down the stairs. Could not have felt very good.
  17. I cant wait for this weekend & not because the Easter Bunny is coming!!! But to be able to see my son wrestle out of state competition and to see some of the top kids in the country go at it. Team Indiana looks very good and it is going to be fun to see how they stack up against the PA team.. My youngest is even more pumped that he might get the chance to meet Chad Red!!!
