  1. Everyone here has been updated and send emails in the system!
  2. Follow directions! I have completed this and sent your email.
  3. If that happened, then you should be fine. Some old coaches do not do this so want to make it as easy of a process as possible for all of you.
  4. Head Coaches: I am going to try to make this as seamless as possible. If you are a new head coach, then likely the IHSAA did not fix your login from last year, Mark Durham and myself have fixed a few but I am sure we have missed some. So, if you have not received your Trackwrestling logins yet, please let me know. The info that I would need is the obvious, your name, your email address, and the school that you are the head coach of. Thanks, Track Gopher Out
  5. Coach: If you utilize TW, here is a Scramble Bracket that they use. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to PM me or contact TW for more information.
  6. And it's streaming today...so hope everyone watches. #GrowTheSport
  7. 1:00, 1:30, 1:30 for Champ Rounds and 1:00, 1:00, 1:00 for Consolation it sounds like.
  8. I want to thank everyone for attending this year's Indiana Frosh-Soph North Qualifier. It was a VERY long day, but we made it through and learned a lot of what needs to happen for next year. I want to open up the floor for anyone else to give suggestions of things we could work on for moving into next year. Some things that I know we will look at: More Mats/Having 5 actual mats More Officials (asked for 7 for 5 mats, but only got our 5). Though thankfully we had a parent of one of our wrestlers that holds an IHSAA officials license that took his time out to break those officials for lunch/breaks. (If staying with only 5 mats) Moving 3 to one set of bleachers and 2 in front of the other so we can keep the floor clear on the spectator side. I only know of a few problems with that. Moving weigh in time a little bit/Moving wrestling time. Better Trackwrestling Admin (suggestion from Y2) We also have a survey that I ask anyone who had a bad experience from the venue to please contact me (PM me here preferably) regarding it, so that I can accurately assist in making the event better for everyone. Hopefully everyone enjoyed their day, while it was a late day I think it was highly successful.
  9. This is just a clarification when it comes to Track and the records from there. Now here is something that if you are worried about it, the match that the wrestler is injured during counts as an injury default, all subsequent matches should be Medical Forfeits, not ID's. That tells the track system that a loss will be given for the Injury Default, but will not be counted for the Med FF.
  10. I was there, but had no part in the creation of brackets.
  11. Too many pictures for Y2's forum... Verify that the wrestlers in this list are not Must Matches. You can click the link button and make them a no match if you cannot find them in the system. (typically that means the wrestler is not named the same thing in the tournament as they are in the season team) Click Continue when everyone is either matched or no matched. Click Finish to dump all the results into your team. If you have any additional questions you can send me a PM and I can help more.
  12. Go to the event in your season team. Click Import Matches. Verify that the Event Team that is showing is your own. Click Continue. Select All Feature to select all of the matches to be checked (verify they are all yours), click continue. Verify that all the teams listed in the tournament are correct. You can change the season team link if it is linking the wrong school.
  13. You did not follow the prompts to add the results. The results are there now, but next time you will go through the screens that say Import Matches, Verify Team, Match Teams, Match Athletes, Dump Matches and you too can add those results!
  14. You will need to log into your season team > Click on the Event on your Schedule page > Click Import Matches or Import Duals (depending on your event type), and then follow the prompts to add those results. Let me know if you need anything else regarding this. Thanks.
  15. Specifically saying #2 at a different Al Smith weight > #2 at State Finals same weight, it appears.
  16. There were 873 subscriptions for TrackCast last year for the Individual State Finals (@ $10). I am aware that some of that probably had to do with the Lee v. Red match but still that is a good amount of people we reached that were unable (or able to go and wanted to watch the replay of the matches). I would imagine that Evansville people would be more than happy to throw $30 towards a stream instead of driving, getting a hotel, and paying admission (which would be $30 for 2 people). Maybe I am wrong, but I do not actually see this harming our attendance as the people who were already planning to go, would. And the people who were not, would have the ability to go. Now I am sure there will be teams periscoping, Twitter Live-ing, and Facebook Live-ing so that their fans back at home are able to watch. I just see it as a missed opportunity.
  17. Yeah, I got the word from the East Chicago Central Semi State that Robert Faulkens told the event coordinators that all matches were to be scored, so I know for sure that every match was scored, because I did it! Time for me to go hide under the 9 inches of snow of TrackWrestlingLand again.
  18. According to my calculations, it appears that another Indiana team may have had a bit of a better tournament. Though I am not sure that ANYONE "dominated". Just going by these weird things called statistics and facts, but what do I know I am just a gopher.
  19. Every bout is archived for a charge on Trackwrestling (Gives you access to every match from the event minus a few that had technical difficulties). The IHSAA took the opportunity to utilize TrackWrestling's TrackCast System, so you just have to purchase that subscription, as they will not allow anyone to post those videos other than on Track's website.
  20. Anyone know about Ian Miller of Kent State today? He is on the bracket of the MAC with an injury default in the Semi's today. If he Medical'd out of the tournament he would not qualify for Nationals. Hope for the best for the kid! I heard there was a possibility that there was a concussion in that match, but not seeing much on any of the forums I frequent. For those who do not remember https://youtu.be/_krDl45mWOE?t=8m59sfor some reminder.
