  1. I suppose my wife "knew what she was getting into".
  2. I tried to get him to bleach it for State, a la "The Boz", but I couldn't quite convince him...
  3. You get paid!? I was under the impression that I had to pay to coach!!!!
  4. I went outside once Saturday and I'm pretty sure my lips about froze off! It was like Hoth out there!
  5. Last weekend he became the first Mishawaka Athlete to make it to State in THREE (football, wrestling, track) different sports! Very impressive and we couldn't be more proud of him! Good luck at state, Tanner!
  6. Sopko vs Schurg is crazy... Another good one coming out of M-Ville, 195: Perry vs. Bradley
  7. Great work, Joe. I was honestly quite surprised to see how tight all four SS were in the win % column.
  8. Wow, Dolly vs Maurer was like watching a D-1 caliber match. I think Alex was the only wrestler that year to nullify Blakes insane blast double.
  9. you never showered....how would you know?
  10. Thomas is still out with the injury he attained at the Al Smith.
  11. The name "Dommer" seems to ring a bell.
  12. Was there a state champ at 215 in the late 90's/early 00's that lettered in BOTH wrestling AND basketball? I could've sworn I remember this being the case.
  13. Congrats to Coach Harper and the rest of his staff. What a humbling experience...We obviously have some work to do. That being said, I wish I could've the Penn-Perry dual...I have no idea how this Penn team loses to anyone this year.
  14. Warsaws undefeated kid didn't place either! 195 was legit.
  15. I have ALWAYS understood it as, in sudden death OT, the first drop to the ankle is a stalemate (which is usually called immediately) and the second time is stalling. For a great example see Maurer vs. Dolly circa 2003.
  16. Quite the impressive feat! He joins Randy Baker as the only other young man to acheive it! Overcame some adversity along the way, wrestled smart, and kept his head up. Enjoy it, Thomas....you deserve it.
  17. Thoughts? In my humble opinion I would go with 195... seems heavier guys don't get as much love in the Indiana wrestling community due to them coming on in their later years (for the most part) but there was A LOT of talent at there at 95 this year. I really think anyone from 6th place up could've won.
