Let me see if I understand this correctly...it's basically a very vague rule that has a tremendous amount of gray area with very little to no IHSAA guidance/interpretation/precedent unless a coach calls a competitor on it? So a kid/coach can go to sectional thinking he's legit and not be questioned, wrestle, then get to regionals and be questioned and possibly ruled ineligible? Yikes. Sounds similar to the transfer policy. The fact that the thread is so long with coaches on it with various interpretations is scary.

Looks like it a FLO event..not sure if pay per view or not but would assume so. Good luck. Google Tulsa Nationals and it will get you to FLO or vice versa.

Now that's #GrowingTheSport..one bus driver at a time! LOL. Whatever it takes. And kudos to PM and whomever is putting the meets on FB Live. To me it's a no brainer in the 21st century. You have kids on all the social media as it is, why not use it a classroom experience/teaching tool and have the various communications depts. ask the kids to go to the meets and do this? Seems like a win/win.

Never thought of the parent on parent crazy angle... I was in Iowa and they let you volunteer and in turn you get a floor pass/free admission and since I'm not a coach thought that would be cool since they try to get you on your kids mat as table help. Well I can hit a ref with a towel with the best of them so I stepped up. Sure enough, as inevitably happens, the dad of the kid LilJimmy is gonna wrestle is working the clock. He's looking at Track trying to stalk LilJimmy and I'm overhearing EVERYTHING he's saying about him...this kids' from IN, didn't even make his state tourney (LilJimmy was JV freshman year) among others. I just kinda stay quiet..for now...as I have also done my homework and his kid was a state placer in Class 27A in Iowa or something. So I'm shutting my mouth figuring LilJimmy is gonna get pounded. LiLJimmy throttles this dad's snowflake 7-0 and this dude starts going off on his kid and leaves his workstation to administer an arse chewing! When he came back I slowly started dropping subtle jabs about the quality of the talent in Iowa and how it must be down this year cuz IN tomato cans are beating IA placers. He finally made the connection and at break he went to a different mat to work..the losers bracket mat! TL;DR..be careful what you say, you never know who you're next to.
