Parris Lawrenceburg 220 bumped up to heavy tech falled Minges from Union county and pinned Smith 1st period from SD!

I don't know the finer details.   So I admit I'm speculating.     But looks like the whole transfer thing didn't work out for Berkebile.   The most logical place is to transfer home or Frankton  as in this case.   Say he transferred to another elite program like you suggested.  That would look really suspicious, no way he would get eligilbity waiver as it would appear he was a team hopper.   And again he could be transferring to a place you might not be comfortable with.  Who knows if he would like the coach there.   You tried it once and that didn't work out.    So you go back to Frankton, you don't have to pay out of district fees and at least its something your comfortable with and the commute is much better.       Maybe the reason he's transferring because he was home sick and missed his friends and school he grew up with and figured wrestling for an elite program is really not as important as he thought.  I bet that's at least part of the reason he's going back.  But when you transfer twice in two years, you lose the benefit of the doubt.  He gambled and lost, and he has to pay with a full season of eligibility.

The parents and athlete knew the consequences when they decided to transfer in and out of Yorktown.
IHSAA sets theses rules so kids dont pack up and wrestle at different schools every year!
Just guessing but I would say a majority of the coaches is in favor of this rule, maybe all of them.

Personal opinion, but there is no way that Tonte beats Parris.

The Big Possum put a great trip together! Kids had a lot of fun and met a lot of new friends! 12-14 quality matches in 2 days is extreme!! The wrestlers looked like they went 5 rounds with MMA Champ Rich Franklin by the end of day 2! Thanks again Coach Thompson!

Thank god for clubs. Clearly, none of these aforementioned guys' high school coaches are any good.

As for 106, some are predicting it to be the "most lopsided" weight class at state. No one at 106 is ranked #1 in the nation (as Red is). No one at 106 has even been ranked in the nation like about a half dozen (or more) others at state. A 7-3 win is not a butt kicking by any means. Just because you've beat some one 4 times (non a major) doesn't mean a 5th is a guarantee. Schaefer may have that unassuming baby face look but is as solid as "ANYONE" at 106. If anyone at state looks passed him they will end up just like Diep and Anderson! All of my state placers have the tools to knock off the #1 and win it all. But there is still a #1 and for very good reason. But to say "most lopsided" well they just don't know the entire weight class. You will see......

Yeah been checking every 15 minutes for the last 2 days!! Ready for the preview for NC!

I'm working on new Castle, and with luck it will be ready tomorrow, but possibly tuesday. It takes me a long, long time. I'm not trying to make excuses, it's just a fact that it's very laborious
