  1. Also Boiler Elite... Is there some such entity around Bloomington or Fort Wayne?
  2. Got some great big guys in the region, how many of them supplement @ RWA? Of particular interest, Gelen Robinson, Kral(s), Berry...Seems like a market could be cornered.
  3. I was unfamiliar with his body of work. 4x Fargo (was it in Fargo back then?) champ (FS/Greco once as cadet and once as Junior). He has my vote.
  4. Jackson's had some tough matchups in the finals, great wrestler I hope this is his year. BTW he was a runner up at Super32. Another tough double overtime loss to a complete stud from CA, his na,e something like Cisernos. So close, I'll be pulling for him.
  5. Early v Rayploe should bea good one Of course Miracle v Lee will be History so that's worth watching
  6. Sliga Brooks and Micic Sliga tops the list 4x Fargo Champ, cadet USAW triple crown winner, 3rd at Super32. He is amassing the best national resume ever from IN, may already have it. Then Brooks, Fargo Junior runner-up, Super32 champ (only the 2nd IN wrestler to win this) Micic Fargo champ as 1st year Cadet (chance at 2x Cadet Fargo Champ, only one to do this is Sliga)
  7. Thanks for doing the leg work on this. Nearly 70% very impressive.
  8. Very true, basically the same draw as Halbig, just switching the first 2matches. Early or Raypole would have to go through 3 undefeated wrestlers. Any other weight classes with 3 or more undefeated?
  9. The coverage of the Al Smith was funny about this they would be talking about how well put together he was and the whole time he was on a different mat not being shown on the video feed, then I saw him in person and understood.
  10. I thought it was an injury that kept him out
  11. That was my prediction last year for the finals hope to see it this year. still like Sliga to win but 28/29 first period pins is a daunting stat. Anyone no how many of sliga's 45 wins went the distance? I know he has at least 2.
  12. Halbig's opponent's combined record would be 160-2
  13. Berry's got to have one of the best pinning percentages in the state, and least mat time per match. But this should be a big step up in competition. still He is capable of 3 quick pins and still get 2nd.
  14. Bigger shame would be if they didn't wrestle at all. I just hope we get to see it with Willis at 100% or as close to that as possible. Bigger than usual Friday night match with Phillips and Crume and this one in the quarters setting up to be a great event.
  15. My pick would be Dalton Halbig of Princeton He would likelyhaveto get past #2 ranked undefeated Berry, to get to #4 or 6th ranked, to get to another undefeated #3 ranked Maurer to get to his third undefeated top ranked defending national champion Sliga. See if there are any tougher draws than that one out there.
  16. Great job with it the whole year. I can only image how much crap you had to put up with as worked up as some get about their guy not Being on the list. I for none really appreciate your effort.
  17. One thing to consider is that OH and other states permit their wrestlers to compete in major high school tournaments like Th IronMan, Cheesehead, Beast of the East etc.
  18. Great post regarding siblings. This was one of if not the toughest weight classes I have over seen. The finals very fittingly was a great hard fought OT match too
  19. Nice work. But could you give us the percentages just for those ranked in the top 16. JK
  20. Most action in the least amount of time. If you can only make 1 session that would be the case, but if you could only choose one day I would go with Sat. More sessions more wrestling in total
  21. That cross face cradle he runs is devastating. I don't know if I have ever seen any pin with a cradle as consistently fast as he does. I mean usually there is some flopping around for awhile with a cradle, but he gets the pin quickly. Still I don't think level change double/cross face cradle get's it done against Sliga (of course I also didn't think level change double could beat Howe until Burrows did it)
