Heistand was in deep on three takedowns, he took a good few shots. On the so called "stalling" he was trying to advance position, but Corsaro was trying to kick away, making it harder for him to clime up the body.

My bad on the major, I wasn't thinking about it. But that's all I was saying way the winner of the 45 shouldn't automatically get it. I even mentioned the 220 winner and 45 having an argument.

He majored Lee who has been in an out of the national rankings. I would say he has a pretty strong argument. So will lecount and forte, and Gelen/miller winners. But no the winner of 145 is not the pound for pound best just for winning.

The stalling call stopped the major from happening. It was dominant for Micic. Lee will have his time to shine.

i hate to say I told you so.... but he did not have enough to compete. That takedown was nice though.

Yes I understand what a fan is. Yes you should root for your guy. No, he shouldnt be the because he majored davis, and Micic "needed" a second time to dominate... despite the fact that the second time was actually the fifth time. I don't mind you guys picking lee, but atleast be a knowledgeable fan and not make those ridiculous statements. Pick lee because of his national credentials. But when someone makes statements like that materdeialltheway guy... it's a bit ridiculous.

I wrestled and played soccer for a few years in hs. All I can say is that I'm slightly embarrassed because of this. Man up! I threw one of our seniors my freshman year, and wasn't afraid to hit someone in soccer... As a 90 lb kid. I knew I should have just ran cc from the start.

All that being said, do I think Lee could win? Of course, haven't you heard, he hasn't even finished his freshman year and people are saying Indiana's greatest ever. Personally though if I were a betting man I would not bet against Micic.

I really hope Lee doesn't think like most of you fans, otherwise he's in for some trouble. Are you honestly not understanding that fact that the only reason it was even close was because they wrestled 3 times before that? Micic last year teched davis the first time, why did lee only get the major. Micic is better then he was last year, Davis had a way to slow him down... well apparently not. Lee is a great wrestler but some of his fans... just wow.

Just to clarify, Micic has wrestled davis 5 times these last two years.last year he teched davis the first two matches, then had a close one. This year, he had a close one then teched hhim. Micic didn't need multiple matches to dominate, davis needed multiple matches to keep it close.

the only reason the rest of the field is not "competitive" is because micic and lee are two of the best in any weight. Davis is a returning runner up and gets majored by the two, you take those two out and it's still a decent weight class.

If someone is really shocked then they might not know the details. If he or miller pulls it off it'd be a big win, but I can't say it'd be a shock

I hope micic dominates, mostly because I think it is ridiculous a freshman is being picked over a number 1/2 ranked kid in the nation, and partially because micic is a beast. His sophomore year he took out boston. Boston is a top ranked kid at 120 now. Yes lee is great, but his time will come. It's micic time and I hope he dominates.
