    lets not forget how there is more opportunities to get more metals in swimming then and wrestling and i think that john smith was probably the most dominant very close to dan gable. i saw on a plaque out in iowa that he did not give up a sinlge point through olympic run. pretty dominant sounding to me! ;D

    i think that maybe carmicheal should be ranked higher. i saw him wrestle alonzo sheperd at folkstyle state and beat him in a good match. i think that alonzo would have been above all the guys ranked at 120-126 so maybe carmicheal should be too?

    Agreed, best to never win a state title. A great article and a great wrestler. He has great work ethic and never gives up. i have been in a practice room with him and seen it first hand. i will always remember that match and i respect campbell for it. I was cheering campbell on that night but as he said that it "wasn't in gods plans". congrats on senior year campbell and good luck at navy and i hope you reach both of your post high school season goals

    I only posted to see opions on the match not placing blame or anything but i am friends with austin but I'm not bias austin was rough so was richie no need for punchs though is all I'm saying

    Richie was punching McCloskey in the face! McCloskey mighted uave shoved him and pounded the head alittle nothing like what richie was doing!!!

    I wonder why no body has mentioned new castle because they have has the toughest in the past couple years i mean look who has come out of our semi state mullins phillips keiffer brothers sorry if spelled wrong boston in past had lance ellis reece humphery those are important names

    there is a ken chertow camp near here!! olympian running the camp!!! can't go wrong there

    i'm sad to say that it pronbaly helped cody to lose and taste it so that he won't taste it again!! just a lesson from cutting to much weight!! ;D and idk if howe would've got a better sholarship seeing as that howe is a national champion and and runner up idk how much better you can get?? ;D

    i think that centerville also sent acouple people to state several years and they are a 1 or 2a school!! ;D

    i would ay it would be more close to 60/40 than 50/50! you always seem ot see those rare small schools that have 1 or 2 beasts but than there is always crown point or cathedral or roncalli that usually sends over 4 kids

    but we can't exclude raley's last second reversal that won it in the last 10 seconds!!!!

    i believe that sims did all the forfeiting for nothing!! be forfeited all those matches during the season to lose to welch 3-0 ina mtach that he got dominated!!! can you say anti-climaxtic??? ;D

    i believe that match was alittle anticlimaxtic because sims forfeits all year long to welch and than meets in the state finals and loses 3-0!! the score doesn't say it but he did all forfeiting to get dominated because in truth welch dominated that match!!! ;D

    not saying that evansville wasn't tought but new castle was pretty stacked also!! had seven weight classes frim new castle not seven champions but seven weights!! ;D
