  1. If your're going to make snide remarks, rude acusations, and biased opinionated statements at least talk to their family face to face. Don't take full advantage of you owning the site just so you can talk crap about a family you know nothing about. It was the coachs and trainers call to tell him he couldn't finish and obviously if ANY wrestler feels better after getting hurt the past match they'll want to go out and try and wrestle the next match. Don't pick on a 16 year old kid when you're a grown man.
  2. For small schools its Eric Myers in my book. He turned around the program with help from a lot of coaches and completely turned that program around.
  3. Beebe could be a darkhorse this year, he was impressive at semi-state last year and is insanely strong
  4. He's not poisoning the minds of his kids, he's just being a realistic coach and not giving the kids false hopes. Small school teams don't have that big of a chance to get past bigger Schools so again they focus on making each individual better and getting those kids who have the qualifications, to make it to state! I know if my coach was blowing smoke up my butt about how we could beat some team (when we had a snowballs chance in hell) I would question weather or not he should be our coach. When bigger schools come in and tear you a new one in a dual meet, you usually can tell if you'll beat them later on in sectionals or regionals.
  5. After seeing him yesterday no one can touch this kid. In my own opinion this could be the next four year champion
  6. he's so fast, so fast.... he makes fast people look, not fast!
  7. In my opinion out of state camps are the best, they let you get expierience on what some of the other kids around the nation wrestle like and you more then likly won't see them throughout the year. I've been to two different states for camp and it's really a different expierence then going to some local thursday, friday, saturday camp (even though any type of off season wrestling will help you immensly).
  8. wrestlebacks would be the best. we would have the four best kids advancing onto state and not the four best kids who got a lucky draw and somehow ended up placing above a guy they beat last week.
  9. I'm sure this was already noticed, but where are the individual rankings? I try to access them and all they say is page 404 not found?
  10. perfect example happened this week at the Fort wayne Semi-State
  11. I'm a fan of just the lights off, and rooting for the underdog
  12. all these matchs seem intense but one of the best ones will be the 171. I'm with you on Hankenson winning it but it will probably be a 1-0 match.
  13. in the article above poster by AJ i'm glad they said Stebing was the most valuable wrestler. It's amazing what some guys can do when they realize it could be there last match of there high school career. He wrestled phenomenal and would be a very tough kid to go against if he was still in the run for state.
  14. Meska is very strong for his weight class and very good on his feet. But on the other hand Zink is a scrambler and fights til the very end of the match so all in all it should be a very good match. My money is on Meska but anything can happen at semi-state!
