I actually like the team aspect of it. it gives the kids who have competed against each other all year the chance to pull for each other as team mates... all with the same goals, to win a few matches in the toughest tournament of the year and God willing become All Americans together. With some of the rivalries between high schools and certain areas of the state, this is one of the only chances these kids will have to put all that aside and just be team mates. JMO -

that's a big win for Fuqua. Could go the other way next week tho....that's one of those killer matchups 3/4 weeks in a row, like who was it McGill/Galka a few years back....or was that McGill/Cossgrove, I cant remember just know they were epic every week of the tournament series....

I wanna say that MCKAJC & datdude both have some issues they need to lay on a couch and talk to someone about....is it really that deep that I think this kid is more slick on his feet than that kid??? who cares really who is slickest on their feet. CJ Red is a very good wrestler on his feet and on the mat. Micic is also very good on his feet and on the mat. So who won your little argument?? They are in 2 different weight classes so we will never see them wrestle in high school. I'm sure CJ will wrestle in the BIG10 so mabey in a few years we will see this match up but until then LET IT GO FELLAS...

Caliboy, to answer your question, I do have Wesley winning it this year, but I think Streck & Hemmelgarn both could pull off the upset. As far as the Irish, your delusional if you think they get 5+ in the finals. I give them 3, Vinnie, Blake, & Wesley. I agree with whoever said possibly Harvey if Forte/Lecount are on same side of the bracket. I do however feel that the Irish will win the team title. I hope not but they will have a bunch of kids on the podium so I feel they have the edge over Franklin/Perry/Penn.
