  1. East Central starts at 6:30...Not sure about New Castle but I think around 9ish
  2. Union County went 3-1 at Milan losing a close one to South Dearborn..I believe 39-30...They wrestle Thursday at home against East Central and then they go to New Castle this weekend.
  3. That is AWESOME!!! I had the privilage to get to know this young man over the past two years at a couple of tournaments...Class act, and a great wrestler!
  4. He looked as good as ever in the first two rounds with a 19-6 first round win and a second round fall.
  5. I guess I didn't realize that Bobby Cox was the commisioner in California too ;D
  6. I don't think that is the point. I think the point is that he got screwed over by his state. It is a good thing we don't have to have an ID card to get into events in Indiana.
  7. I gave you a wahoo for this....just too funny!
  8. Great news...I love watching this kid wrestle!!!
  9. I'll be there...Good Luck to all the Indiana wrestlers!
  10. What are the dates for this and the location this year? Here are the kids that I would guess to be wrestling at each weight class....feel free to add some that I may have forgot 103: Boomsma Bloomington South and Bowman from Homestead 112: Price Tech, Orzechewicz Griffith, Schroeder Southwestern 119: Simpson Rochester, Case Terre Haute South, Kendle Pike Central, Julien Lebanon 125: Kieffer Roncalli, Rieker Columbus East, Poynter DeKalb, Sommer Carmel 130: Crume Jimtown, Barroquillo Prairie Heights, Brown Castle 135: Raley Indian Creek, Kieffer Roncalli, Gregory Penn 140: Montgomery, Terre Haute South, Rattay Lawrence North 145: Roach Crown Point, Weekly Jeffersonville, Hiestand Yorktown 152: Welch Castle, Lefever Ft. 11. Blanton is a heck of a wreslter, but I did not see this one coming!
  12. I really liked Campbell's singlet too..New Castle always seems to have pretty cool singlets for the finals.
  13. Are there any rematches next weekend from this past weekend? The first one that comes to my mind is McKinley and Kieffer. I think the outcome is going to be the same with McKinley winning...what does everybody else think?
  14. 103: Cody Phillipsvs. Nathan Boston 112: Kyle Ayersman vs. Mason Todd 119: Brandon Nelsen vs. Kyle Ayersman 125: Brandon Wright vs. Jared McKinley 130: Jason Tsirtsis vs. Neal Molloy 135: Brock Norton vs. Ethan Raley 140: Frankie Porras vs. Jason Tsirtsis 145: Eric Roach vs. Eric Roach 152: Sammy Bennett vs. Doug Welch 160: Sean McMurray vs. Chad Welch 171: Drake Stein vs. Drake Stein 189: Michael Johnson-Jones vs. Garrett Goldman 215: Nathan Cleveland vs. Trey Reese 285: Ross Janney vs. Jeremiah Harvey
  15. How about the super man singlet that Lunford from South Bend Clay wore....had a utility belt and everything on it!
  16. Seeing as Tyler knocked our kid out of the tournament last weekend at Semi-State, I am rooting for him too..Good Luck Tyler!!
  17. Who do you think is in the running for the Mental Attitude award this year? There are a lot of deserving young men out then.
  18. Don't forget about Raley winning the Super 32 this year. That is a pretty darn good accomplishment. Nobody else from Indiana has ever won that before. I think this is going to be a great match up if it happens. Can't count out Kieffer or Gregory. My pick for this weight class is Raley, but it is going to be tough for any of these four young men.
  19. I don't know anything about the Que boy, but from looking at some of his wins on the rankings list, I don't think that he is going to be in Cody's league. I know the rankings don't mean anything, but the do help out a little. As for Brooks, I think Brooks is a great wrestler, but I think Cody is to dominate on his feet for him, but then again I thought the same thing against Todd and look what happend....
  20. I thought Cody handled the loss very well. He not only represented himself well, he represented Union County well. I think Phillips will meet up with Todd again, and have a gameplan to beat Todd. Toddy wreslted an extremely good match, and dominated. With that being said I think Phillips will be more prepared and will avenge his loss. I was shocked at how Todd dominated that match. If you saw Phillips wrestle the match before against Price, I never would have guessed he was going to lose to Todd. Phillips absolutely dominated Price, but that is why we wrestle each match. I will be rooting for a rematch at state but with Cody winning!
  21. There were four 4 over 1's at New Castle 135: Chance Miller Triton Central over John Tatom Hamilton Southeastern 135: Michael Achenbach Anderson over Chase Woodall Connersville 160: William Clinkscales North Central over Zach Hutchinson East Central 189: Cameron McMullen East Central over Mason Nickell Roncalli Each wrestler went on to lose in the ticket round match.
  22. 103 Boston LN...haven't seen him yet but from what I hear he is for real. 112 Phillips Lock 119 Ayersman Lock 125 Kieffer 130 Harvery 135...three kids all deserving...I'm taking Reley though 140 Tsirtsis lock 145 Roach lock 152 Welch 160 Willis 171 Stein 189 Stevenson 215 Reese lock 285 Henson
