  1. You left off one of the hardest working staffs in the state. I vote non of the above and Write in Perry meridian Falcons!!!
  2. Absolutely the scores can and should be changed. If an ineligible wrestler is wrestled in a dual meet, for whatever reason, the guilty school has to forfeit that weight and the dual meet score is changed. So in this case any team points that wrestler scored should now become "0". It is much different than having 12 men on the field. If by chance a football team uses an ineligible player and that is found out later, the game becomes a Forfeit. There are several cases where this has happened to football teams. Even if its just one play on special teams!!! This situation is the same, an ineligible wrestler was used. I would say the IHSAA should be contacted and they will make the decision. Most likely the school that violated the rule and used ineligible wrestler will recieve some type of penalty... most likely a warning from the IHSAA comish.
  3. If they don't shake my hand I pull out my piece and they enter a world of pain. A world of pain. I was at a meet once and saw the head coach wipe his hand on his assistants sleeve after every handshake.... PRICELESS!!!!
  4. Ok Wildkitty79...... Harlod Mumby 10 State championship teams, Clifford "2 Bit" Myers 8 State Championship Teams, and Kay Hutsell 6 State Championship teams. Add those to the list...am I wrong!?!
  5. Match One: Cruz gets early takedown, starts to Salsa dance in celebration and gets reversed to his back for a pin!! match two: Justin Tuck just has too much defense and wins on a late go behind Match Three: Manning has two older brothers, he is use to getting out of holds and reverses Brady to his back as Tom is trying to fix his hair. Match Four: Very controversial match. Belichik almost doesn't get to wrestle, it appears as if he lost more than 1.5% of his body weight when he took off his oversized sweatshirt before weigh-ins. But after the commissoner is called he is allowed to wrestle. However, it is later revealed that he secretly video taped Coughlin during a practice to learn a counter to his star move and is disqualified after the match. A huge uproar in the wrestling community starts and the IHSAA decides that a superbowl dual meet is no longer a good way to decide a team champion so they change it to a wing eating contest and Jeffersonville wins hands down!!!
  6. That figures Northview sectional was pretty weak....some great wrestling in northern Indiana today!!! Orange is good and everyone knows WWE is real Dude that's not breaking news!!!
  7. They have a great feeder club!! Its a complicated formula lots of ins lots of outs and what have yous. Their middle school teams are loaded with talent and most everyone on roster is back next year. No details, just vegtables
  8. That rule is so vague, that is my point.... some say it is alpha weight some say from one weigh in to the next some say the IHSAA gives the extra pound how can it be enforced... blah Blah blah.... we're talking tenths of pounds here, I doubt something as small as that should be of any relevance and thus you illustrate my point "rules are rules" right? no grey area.... thats the issue here you have people who have no understanding of the sport trying to decide if what people who do have an understanding of the sport do are ethical or not.... and that is just one illustration.
  9. I dont think the real issue is ethics, the real issue is COMMON SENSE and sometimes minding your own business. It seems that fans and coaches like to think some things are black and white and there is no grey area in the sport. Thats the beauty of our sport dude, its like this 1.5% rule, so a kid weighs in on Wednesday more than 1.5% than what he can lose before saturday, some coaches say oops he is "ineligible" to wrestle.... common sense tells us that losing another .08% of body weight is no big deal and who is keeping track anyway? I'll tell you who ; some dumb $#$@#$s coach who is looking for a way his kid with 15 losses can advance to semi-state so he can put in his Bio for the school program that he has coached 100 kids to semi-state.... coaches at times lose sight of what is important, as Dr. Phil would say ,"It aint about you!" If kid with 15 losses upsets a kid with 1 or 2 losses and gets to semi-state, now that is something to celebrate!!! do things right mind your own business and be able to lay your head on the pillow at night knowing the kids you coached had an experience they can be proud of!!! COMMON SENSE and mind your OWN business!!! Good coaches last!! Unethical coaches may get their 15 minutes of fame but they tend to burn bright, fast and then OUT!!! Am I wrong?@?@@
  10. I heard he was a 3x sectional qualifier!!!
  11. Calm down Bigtoe its just like his opinion man! Just like you enjoy Grape Kool-aid as preferred to say Strawberry or Raspberry Kool-aid. Its nothing to pick a fight over.... word on the street is that btown is getting a heavy boost in their lineup next season and will find out what happens when you feed a stranger scrambled eggs!!! They are throwing out a ringer for a ringer!!! Am I wrong?!?!! Shomer Shabbas

  14. terry tipton has a lot of unchecked aggression and this aggression will not stand man!!!!

  19. ;D Jimtown Jimmy, your humor makes my day once again!!!! I will have jeans on, they may be a bit tight, and I may also have on bowling shoes. Usually I yell TWOOOO real loud all day as well look me up!!
  20. awood, nice statement, if both wrestlers are happy with the score why should you call it. The one time I really dislike stalling called is: Tight match, lets say 2-1.... wrestlers go out of bounds... come back to center, losing wrestlers dives in on shot immediately on whistle which causes winning wrestler to sprawl....(what else can he do right) bam stalling tied up.... one of my least favorite calls in the sport. usually a kid is rewarded with terrible technique just diving in .....I even saw it called once where a kid dives in, sprawl, spin behind for Two but yet also stalling....really now come on stripes cost the team a point for major decision. Am I wrong!!!?????
