  1. How many takedown records were done in this manner? If you are getting takedown records by teching kids in this manner it just means you wrestled a super weak schedule and your record doesn't mean anything.

  3. And a coach! Katie Kriebel is the assistant coach for the Senior Women's National Wrestling Team. She will be working with the team before the Olympics and in Paris. So proud of all these Forever Hoosiers!

  4. Know this topic has been covered to some degree, but thoughts on the best native Indiana high school AND college careers that have already been completed, and also if applicable international, world, freestyle in the last 50 years...? Here's my thoughts for starters. All of these were at least minimum one-time college All Americans. Number 1 goes to Mason Parris imho. after Parris names that come to mind are Andrew Howe, Nick Lee, Reece Humphrey, Angel Escobedo, Leroy Vega, Jack Effner, Kelvin Jackson, Brad Traviola, John Ginther, Jason and Alex Tsirtsis, Mark Whitehead, Adam Chalfant. Many outstanding high schoolers including David Palmer, Lance Ellis aren't included because their college careers were cut short and or didn't make All American status. I'm sure I'm missing a few.

  5. That adds to Indiana’s wrestling Olympians. We’re putting a squad together for Paris.

  6. With the implementation of the 3 point takedown, will all takedown records now be untouchable? Previously 15 takedowns was roughly a tech but now it would be done in 7-8 takedowns.

  7. Agree to disagree. Sarah Hildebrandt is the undisputed Indiana women's GOAT. There are levels to this. This is akin to calling Caitlyn Clark the basketball GOAT.

  8. Will help officials out big time with the new OOB rules

  9. Absolutely love all the rule changes. Not as much grey area with new college ob rules and more points on the board. All sounds great to me!

  10. Mendez is definitely a beast. Andrew Howe is definitely in the mix as well.

  11. I believe you are correct if Mendez continues tracking on his current path. 4X HS State Champ, NCAA Champ as a true sophomore & competed very well on the senior level at the latest Olympic Trials beating McKenna, Green & Diakomihalis then only losing to Retherford 3-2. Very impressive for someone who is only 20 or 21 years old.

  13. Quick thought to me would be Micic, but my mind is a bit foggy from New Years celebration. #BringBackTheTights
