You may now refer to Mason Parris as WORLD CHAMPION Mason Parris. He got a fall in the first period in the finals....just doing Mason Parris things....

Per the current standings Indiana would be in 9th place as a country in the world right now.

You gotta figure he really couldn’t ever train full time year round, prior to this year. He was killing it in football and track. Which I’m sure that he does not regret and had tons of fun. As a middle school coach I try to encourage all my kids to do the same. Mason is a great example of what a young well rounded student athlete should be. My kids will hear about Masons journey no less than 10 times a season! Now that he is training for wrestling year round and full time, the sky is the limit. Can’t wait to see what the future holds!!

Roughly 11th. Nomad put out his team scores and the team in 10th had 50 points and Indiana has 45.

We would have dropped to 11th, not too bad of a showing though.

I know it HWT tactics, but still a big leap for Parris. From relatively no national freestyle experience a short time ago to now having international success. He may not always look smooth, but he’s definitely showing improvement in his match awareness and skill set. And it seems like very few people nationally seems to bring Davison name up as a up and coming college talent. But he’s been on quite an impressive run the last couple years. I think a lot more people will get to know his name as this college season progresses.

Hidlay’s loss was tough because the 4th point given up was a failed challenge. No challenge and hidlay wins on criteria.

Davison will wrestle for a GOLD medal tomorrow! He got an early takedown and three guts to go up 8-0. He gave up a takedown then stepped over a gut attempt for the PIN! Way to go Lucas! Mason Parris is coming to the mat now.
