Loki27
The Franklin Vs CE match tomorrow night will feature elementary, middle school, jv and varsity duals. With the elementary and middle school duals starting at 5:30 and the varsity and JV starting at 7:00. I think that is an awesome idea and have never seen it before. Does anyone else do anything like this? It seems to make sense, should be exciting.

Mattyb
Now that is awesome. I am going to push for something like that at our school! We all should. That will only help grow the sport from the bottom up. Hats off to Columbus East and Franklin. I am not surprised that they are doing something this cool. They both have and always have had great clubs! Trapp and Fuqua are the great club leaders.
jetwrestling
Adams Central and South Adams will wrestle our Elementary Clubs against each other prior to our High School dual tomorrow night. We have been doing it for 3-4 years now. We use it as an opportunity to promote our High School programs to our future wrestlers and parents. randalllynch
Jeffersonville and New Albany do this with their respective middle schools since both high schools have 2 feeder schools. Kids love it!

jlittlejohn
Had the pleasure of working Jeffersonville vs. St. Xavier (Louisville) last night. It was a great environment! Especially, seeing the high school kids interacting with the younger wrestlers and seeing each age group encouraging and cheering on the others. Great community event for both the wrestling community as well as the local community. Kudos to all the forward thinking programs who practice such events and hope to see these types of formats spread across the state. What better way to promote and grow the sport of wrestling at the local level.
