alal
With all of your pro-Milan posts are you simply just fishing for compliments? LOL! I just follow local schools, but yes, Milan is a favorite of mine except when it comes to the Spartan Classic, they seem to take a dive every year there, just not good enough I guess. I also follow East Central, they seem to have a lot of improvements in their team this year, curious to see how they do. Batesville, I think will be a disappointment to me this year. oldcoach50
I think alal is just fishing (all of his posts are about Milan), but here's some bait. Lonneman was sect.champ last year over Oyler, Strueing and Bowers in that order. He was second at regional (Oyler beat him). Strueing was 3rd and Anderson 4th. Now, if you're from Milan, get off this and practice; if not, learn SOMETHING before you bash anybody.

I dont think lonneman is being overlooked. he has some pretty big wins
alal
No, oldcoach50, not from Milan, although I no some from there (some from Batesville and some from EC also)! and as for bashing, dont think I did any bashing! and I ask alot about milan and EC because I never see their results on here much, so I ask...maybe if their coaches would keep us all posted, I wouldnt ask so much? ...... Unfortuneatly there are too many negatives on here. Just looking to see where these guys are going to fall, I get anxious to see what is going to happen at sectional®ionals. powerhalf
Lonneman is a fantastic wrestler, something tells me alal was trying to play the instigator in order to get some positive things said about the Milan 120. Coach Adams man not be the head guy any more but he will still defend his wrestlers. I have heard tales from the seeding meetings involving him. alal
Guess it is good for people to stick up for the teams, hope I did not offend anyone, did not no oldcoach50 was the coach, but again, did not think I bashed. Anyways, as for Centerville, I do try & keep up with them they are a team that usually looks good, luckily I see many post about them on here so I dont have to ask. But while I have him talking, how bout Cavins. (lol)

I posted a lot about EC last year, but my stepson graduated. We sent 8 to Semi State last year, but only two (my stepson and Ricky Brown) got to the ticket round, and neither advanced. We graduated 7 of those wrestlers (and our coach moved on to teach and coach football elsewhere). The only one back is Max Dole. Max is 17-0 his year, with wins against Pendleton Heights (although I wasn't there, so I am not sure if it was versus Gooding or McCool) and Phoenix Adams from Terre Haute South (ranked #15 in state). This week is going to be a tough one for him at North Montgomery at 160, with Borta, Krege, and McCool (assuming they all come in at 160). Our first tournament at Harrison (OH) was a tough one, but the kids have bounced back and the team is rounding into shape. We had 7 wrestlers go 5-0 last weekend at the EC Super 8, and lost the title match to THS 35-33 (without an EC wrestler at 113). This is still a rebuilding year, but they haven't regressed as far as I had feared they might. Good luck to all wrestlers. Looking forward to some excellent matches in the upcoming weeks! We miss u on here buddy. You did bring a lot of insight to that school and area that I don't seem to get anymore. Also a huge thanks on sending me your own excel new castle bracket last year. Hopefully your stepson has been doing good since graduating. And good luck to max dole. He is a good kid, funny too lol.

Thanks, Mak! My wife and I went to the 8-Way last week (I get to do the home PA announcing), and realized that we really missed it. We are going to try to catch the team when we can. In fact Lucas (my stepson) is home for break and headed up to North Montgomery tonight for this weekend's tournament. He is attending Manchester University (IN) and is friends with Logan Floor (who wrestled at Westfield). He has hung out with the wrestling team up there, but plans to play baseball. Hopefully I will get to meet you in peson this year! And I will provide updates as I can.

jgmotorfan
@120 Lonneman McClurg :-X- :-X. The match -scramble the whole 1st period. McClurg had several chance but never could get control of a take down on the matts edge. Period 2-Mcclurg choose down Lonneman does a great job of workin different arm tie tilts pretty much the whole match, but could not get McClurgs shoulders or hips over, McClurg hand fighting the whole period. 3rd - Lonneman takes down. McClurg rides most the period, Lonneman sitting & McClurg stopping & returning, a couple scrambles on their feet usually ending in double wizards with high hip winning out. Both were returned to the center after a through of the sort ended with both wresters backs on the mat on the out line. Restart :22 Lonneman gramby roles &Mcclurg catches him mid holds for a while Lonneman scrambles out and to his feet again and the d wizard end up in head lock throw by McClurg that Lonneman was able to get McClurg rolled on over at the whistle all of which ended out of bounds .Ref awards 2 rev. to Lonneman. Excellent match both kids wrestled hard. Lonneman2 McClurg 0. Can't wait to see rematch top 2 at FC sect. Maybe top 3@ R.R.
bigmak
heard that hittle from rushville was 182 today. anyone know if thats the plan for sectionals? that really makes 182 tough...someone or 2 really good wrestlers wont make it out of regionals if so. 195 will breathe a sigh of relief. who was bowers loss too? was it boggs? score? what about coffmans losses?
