So Lahue beats Shepard 4-2 in OT then on Saturday beats Whitley 5-1.  Does that mean that the three best 113 lbers in the semi-state are all going to wrestle in the Jeff Sectional?  This guy thinks so.

 

Do any of the three get an oppurtunity to wrestle Schootlee of cetner grove before semi-state?

126 had some very good matches. Pierre and Bloomington South kids wrestled very well. I think the Meenach kid had something wrong. He usually is real energetic between rounds and he was Laying under the bleachers, He was very Pale and  I think he was on cold Medicine. He looked like he had no energy. He still kept up with Shremp and was up 5-0 on South Western kid before he got caught and pinned. Jamison did not even score on the South western kid when he lost to him.

Meenach didn't get caught by Southwestern, he got taken down and then just ran a half.

There was definately something wrong with Meenach, he looked thin and sick. . . hope that is not the sign of cutting too much weight.

sounds like you have an attatchment to a southwestern rebel. I'm not taking anything away from Spray he is a very good wrestler. The match that i seen it looked like meenach lost his balance when backing up and Spray got on top and turned him and pin him. everyone has a moment, Im just saying the boy wasn't himself.

Some wrestlers you should look at are cascade's 106 lb hunter fox he is 16-1 with 14 pins and 1 tech fall and cascade's 126 lb zach batts he went 9-0 until he was injured a few weeks back but wrestled up and beat jake swigert from moorseville like 10 to 5 lastly look at danville's 152 lb Kyle reeves he's 14-2  pinning tanner brant of Avon

Seems like Shepherd(ranked at 113) wrestled this past tourny at 120. Do you think he will stay there or go back to 113. Seems road to state is packed more at 120. If he is staying at 120 could it be because of Lahue or could he really be having trouble keeping the low weight down.

I heard he was going to give 120 a try for a little while just to see if that helped keep his strength up.  I think he may have been having a little making 113.  It might end up being a little better for him with the 2 pound allowance.  Time will tell.
