A couple of years ago I saw a video (Youtube or something) about David Taylor. He was working with a personal trainer and they were going through his workout routine and talking about what he was doing in preparation for the season and then what he did during the season. He was traveling something like an hour to work out with his trainer after practices. The trainer was trying to keep his strength at around 80% - 90% of where he came into the season at. It evidently worked for him.

We did not wrestle the teams with Gilbert, Gomez or Holwager. He lost a couple times the very first weekend of wrestling by slim margins. He'll be one of the tougher 4 seeds in the sectional and should do well.

He fractured his ankle and was out for several meets. His losses have been to quality kids including Meenach by 1 point at the SIWC.

I heard he was going to give 120 a try for a little while just to see if that helped keep his strength up. I think he may have been having a little making 113. It might end up being a little better for him with the 2 pound allowance. Time will tell.

Washington looked good as did Southport and Greencastle from what I saw of them. I don't know what the team scores were as the only team scores available on the board was the Scottsburg matches.

Is Beavans still at 106 or is he going to wrestle a higher weight as indicated by going 120 at Mooresville?

You have Josh Pierre at 126 and at 132...will he be getting a 45 minute match break in between wrestling weight classes ;D

He hurt is ankle pretty bad during Regional this past weekend. He could barely stand on it, so I am assuming he is trying to heal prior to this weekend.

I heard the SIWC will be turning into the Southern Indiana Tournament of Champions in the near future. Maybe next year??? I am not sure why or exactly who wanted the name change, but I don't think it matters. Some of the schools, such as Charlestown and Scottsburg, are in the Mid Southern Conference already.
