Justdo^it135
There always seems to be a couple upsets in the ticket round every year, and kids that deserve to go to the show have to watch from the stands. What are some of the biggest upsets you can remember?
CoachRyan_Delta
Tom Ginter- Penn over Mike Dubes- Delphi. 135 in 2005. Ginter got third in his Regional and Dubes was undefeated. I think the score was like 11-10 or something nuts like that. And Tommy got a reversal with 20 seconds or so to go.

naco228
I remember at the Clay regional last year, two very good matches went into overtime its was Hall vs. Smith and Young vs. Reinoehl Smith and Reinoehl both won, really fighting for that match. Unfortunately, Smith would face Galka in TR and Reinoehl would face Roach Both Hall and Young advanced I was thinking, "damn, they were better off losing that match!" coltfan64
My vote is definitely Bradbury over Birge. That was an amazing match.
jomar132
Mitchell Todd, Pendleton Heights, over Undefeated, returning place winner Keith Garrard, Circa 2003. Todd would go on to win the semi state, and then be upset by Stephen Mosier, Yorktown.
xbrick132
How about 1984, freshman Kris Karnes from Taylor upsetting #1 ranked and undefeated senior Jim Daniels of Lake Central. Yea, that stunk. Jim was my buddy. I was also upset by a guy from Taylor (Bart Tabor) that year.
mwheeler
In 2007, when defending state-runner up Travis Dale, McCutcheon, lost to Shrewsbury when Shrewsbury was a sophomore. This was in the ticket round at Merrillville. I believe that Dale was undefeated at the time.
