infowrestling Posted February 5, 2009 Share Posted February 5, 2009 I was just thinking about this today. There are 9 teams in the Jay County sectional. There are 56 total regional qualifiers out of each sectional. Bellmont (North Adams) 12 Adams Central 7 South Adams 10 Total = 29 regional qualifiers from Adams County. The other 6 teams which represent 3 other counties, and a part of a 4th county = 27 regional qualifiers from Wells County, Jay County, Blackford County, and part of Randolph County. starsaw Posted February 5, 2009 Share Posted February 5, 2009 NOT and I say NOT that I would want this to EVER happen!!!!.....Because I enjoy my little school in the Southern part of Adams County......BUT what "if" Adams County did what what some county's do and consolidate all the high schools......it would be Adams County High School or something like that (actually I don't know that there would ever be a name for this school, the whole county would be fighting endless days to name it) ......That would be sick! The JV team alone from Adams County High School would be unstoppable....They would have to build a field house just for Wrestling in Adams County! HOWEVER, WHEN UP AGAINST THE REGION TEAMS [MISHAWAKA & CROWN POINT] OR INDY AREA [CATHEDRAL & PERRY MERIDIAN] IT BECOMES A DIFFERENT STORY. BELLMONT SHOULD HAVE EASY RIDE TO TEAM STATE [YORKTOWN CHOKED]. WE'LL IF THEY CAN BEAT A TOP 5 TEAM THEN. AND AS FAR AS ONE SCHOOL IN ADAMS COUNTY. IF YOU GO TO THE TOP OF MOUNT DOOM AND READ THE STONE TABLETS IT SAYS "BELLMONT!' THE ONLY WAY AC OR SA WOULD CONCEDE IS IF THEY SPELLED IT BELMONT!
