  1. just my opinion but it looked like there was a count when theurer hit peterson roll during 140 match with martin. curious to see how the jay county wrestler does @ semi-state. in the loss he might have better bracket than rs kid. ehr from sa really stepped it up from sectional meet. can anybody touch chalfant ??? would love to match him with baker. technique vs. pure power. yorktown has me eating a little crow. thought they were sub-par vs. bellmont @ team regional. individual regional they come up with 5 champs and 10 sem-state qualifiers. nice job trent and the tiger team.
  2. looking at posted college signings and wondered why alot of guys opt to go out of state after winning IHSAA state title. from group listed purdue did a nice job of getting in-state signees. currently escobedo, corpe, kasten and others have stayed around but percentage wise do the champion kids hang around? spoke to goldman [iu] about this topic when howe signed with wisconson. i realize the factors of indiana and purdue being the only D1 schools in state but trine, wabash, rose-hulman, manchester, and indianapolis are great schools. tsirtsis, howe, lawrence, i wish all the best but would loved a boiler or hoosier singlet on them. six staying and six leaving. * denotes past IHSAA state champion Kyle Mosier Yorktown Purdue 157 Jordan Dulaney Yorktown Wabash 149 Briar Runyan Martinsville West Point Academy 157/165 Drew Graber Northridge Cleveland State 174/184 *Cashe Quiroga Lawrence North Purdue 125/133 *Steven Sandefer Mishawaka Indianapolis 141 Marcus Shrewsbury Crown Point Northwestern 197 *Josh Harper Mishawaka Michigan State 133 *Camden Eppert Anderson Highland Purdue 125 Daniel Young Culver Academies West Point Academy 149 Kyle Mays Northridge Cleveland State 149/157 Alex White Mount Vernon Purdue 285
  3. what is the 2009 membership for wrestling officials this year in Indiana? most of the guys i've seen both at the middle school and high school levels are doing a pretty good job. also, do you have the say on where you go to work after passing the test or are you given a region of the state to make contacts from?
  4. DECBELL1 AND STARSAW COME BACK TO POST AFTER TEAM STATE. AND WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THIS YEAR NOT THE LAST 5. COME TO THINK OF YOU TWO BOYZ FROM ADAMSVILLE, WHY DOESN'T SA AND BELLMONT WRESTLE A DUAL MEET? Match 1: Mishawaka (28-0) vs. Indianapolis Cathedral (26-2). Match 2: Crown Point (18-1) vs. Roncalli. Match 3: Bellmont (18-2) vs. Perry Meridian. Match 4: Castle (20-1) vs. Delphi (23-10).
  5. BELLMONT DOES WELL IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF INDIANA. NOT MANY TEAMS ARE AS SOLID FROM TOP TO BOTTOM AS THE BRAVES. HOWEVER, WHEN UP AGAINST THE REGION TEAMS [MISHAWAKA & CROWN POINT] OR INDY AREA [CATHEDRAL & PERRY MERIDIAN] IT BECOMES A DIFFERENT STORY. BELLMONT SHOULD HAVE EASY RIDE TO TEAM STATE [YORKTOWN CHOKED]. WE'LL IF THEY CAN BEAT A TOP 5 TEAM THEN. AND AS FAR AS ONE SCHOOL IN ADAMS COUNTY. IF YOU GO TO THE TOP OF MOUNT DOOM AND READ THE STONE TABLETS IT SAYS "BELLMONT!' THE ONLY WAY AC OR SA WOULD CONCEDE IS IF THEY SPELLED IT BELMONT! CONSOLIDATING WOULD KILL WRESTLING IN ADAMS COUNTY FROM THE CIVIL WAR IT WOULD CREATE.
  6. READING SEVERAL POSTS ABOUT GRAMMAR ISSUES [bELLMONT SMELLMONT WHO CARES] OR FEELINGS GETTING HURT [DELTA UP OR GET OFF THE MAT]. JUST ANOTHER ISSUE THAT CREATES A PISSING CONTEST. LETS SEE HOW MANY GUYS PLACE TOP 3 @ STATE FROM THIS REGIONAL.
