106

#4  Diep- New Palestine

#18 Murphy- Warren Central

Murphy surprised many with his dominant victory over Diep in the Sectional 17-7

113

#5 White- New Palestine

#10 Smiley- Beech Grove

#14 Owens- Warren Central

White and Smiley could be on course for a rematch of their exciting sectional which White won 3-1

120

#3 Elliott- Perry Meridian

#20 Starks- New Palestine

With Elliott being a returning state place winner, he seems to be the favorite. Starks is a tough match up for anyone though.

126

#1 Red- New Palestine

#6 UK- Perry Meridian

#9 McGee- Warren Central

#13 Hair- Franklin Central

#15 Wright- Greenfield-Central

This weight is as tough as it gets in the state. The opening round match between Uk and Hair proves it. 5 ranked wrestlers, only 4 spots at New Castle.

132

#4 McKinney- Warren Central

#7 Ellis- Roncalli

#9 Napier- Perry Meridian

#18 Vaughn- Franklin Central

Another tough weight that could be won by any of these wrestlers on any day. McKinney is still the favorite after his Sectional victory over Ellis by fall.

138

#1 James- Perry Meridian

#8 Timberman- New Palestine

James might very well be the best wrestler in any weight class, he shouldn't be tested here.

145

#4 Smiley- Beech Grove

#6 Pruitt- Warren Central

#8 Warren- Perry Meridian

With 3 wrestlers in the top 8 of the state rankings, and Warren owning a win over Pruitt, and Pruitt beating Smiley 3-0 last week. It could get interesting.

152

#5 Johnson- Perry Meridian

#17 Gibson- Greenfield-Central

#19 Herrick- Warren Central

Johnson owns a victory over both other ranked wrestlers, but don't overlook Gibson or Herrick

160

#8 Briggeman- Cardinal Ritter

#19 Young- Franklin Central

With only two ranked guys in this weight, it leaves room for upsets. Look out for Goddard and Milner

170

#8 Nuckols- Greenfield-Central

Nuckols should be the favorite to out work everyone in the field on Saturday, but don't count the others out.

182

#4 James- Roncalli

James is the best wrestler in the field, he should win barring upset or injury.

195

#4 Tonte- Perry Meridian

A weight that isn't as strong as the others, Tonte should roll.

220

#3 Morrow- Warren Central

#17 Grable- New Palestine

#19 Cooper- Triton Central

Besides having the coolest name in the biz, Courvoiser Marrow has a 7-1 over Grable last week at the Sectional. He's my pick to win

285

#8 Brogan- Warren Central

#11 Jackson- Pike

#19 Ridle- Perry Meridian

Whoever is on top of their game Saturday will win this weight and set themselves up for a run to the bank. Jackson is my pick.
