Very tough weight class last year

I have a junior at 132. Basically he can do EVERYTHING by the book and probably shell out $500+ for events and travel then get snubbed. Yet two guys(who are amazing wrestlers) can skip local tournaments and the state tournament and get to go.

I have soft commitments from 13 wrestlers, just awaiting firm commitments from coaches and wrestlers after they check schedules and such. I will announce the team as we get those.

I thought about this some more and it makes total sense. Coaches already make a ton of money for coaching and they are probably teachers which means they are in the high roller category so they really should pay for their first day also.

I'll go with Mulkey...I don't think many people had winning eville let alone making it to the finals.  Mulkey has a good solid opponent first and second round but he should advance to see Reitz in the semi finals.  Actually, I'll stop and just say 120 is the deepest weight class at the state finals.  
 
152- Pruit 41-2 has a clean shot to the finals...I can even see an upset of the winner of McCormick/Lawrence
160- Maybe a long shot but Gleason Mappes but he has quality losses to Van Horn and Whitaker.  IF he can get past Malone first round I'll take him over Garmen which puts him in the semi finals.  
170- Dull has a tough first and second round match but they're not Walton, Hughes, Baumgartner, etc.  Def a darkhorse 
182- Jones 38-6...Has a clear path to the finals and has proven he can keep it close with Rypel.  All eyes are on Rypel and Davison but don't be surprised to see Jones pull an upset.
195 Stewart of Cathedral- I'll take him over Tonte in the finals...
 
285- maybe a homer pick but Galligar of Col. East!  Streck has to go through a murderers row of Amos 46-8, Klem 38-3, and Perkins 32-1 before making it to the finals.  Can Galligar pull an upset?  Probably not but we've seen stranger things happen.

Call me biased but I'm picking Whitaker vs Vanhorn match #6 in the finals @ 160.

What an original idea.    But the powers to be have declared no wrestleback on Shabbas.

160 inflated records??? Most definitely concussed... Whitaker is up 3-1 on vanhorn in thier series this year, has also beaten Mappes x2, Farmer 2x, Majored Dominic Herrick, beaten Cole Chandler, beat #1 @145 Brad Laughlin. He most definitely has an inflated record..... don't be surprised to see him under the lights with Covaciu!
 

You know Asbury4040 that is one of the biggest problems with our world today. There is no accountability, no one makes people responsible. You are correct that these guys are kids, yet we don't teach them anything by saying well you're great kids and super athletes so breaking the law and drinking underage is okay. As a parent first my son would not wrestle had this happened. Senior year or not, state tournament or not. I as a parent have to take the responsibility for my kid. Fortunately my son knows this and when I told him what was going on here, his exact words were "you would eat me". He then said luckily he also had a partner in the room that would make things unbearable, a girlfriend that would dump him and coaches that would drop him. That is accountability and responsibility to keep these "kids" on the straight and narrow. By letting things just slide not only do you hurt these "kids", but you also hurt those kids that come up in the future and "understand" that this type of incident is okay and will be let go as long as you are part of an undefeated program and are a cog in that machine!

Also very stacked, what are the chances we see 3 wrestlers in the same sectional bracket qualify for state?

How about they offer Premium Parking instead... Like within 2 miles of the doors..

We are a little more advanced than napkins here in Morgan county..... haha
