    Its also a proven fact heavy favorites loose matches they should win, I agreed with you that I think Micic wins, but Anderson Silva would still be the UFC Champ if big upsets didn't happen in the sporting world, or are you saying wrestling is immune to this? Micic is not as dominate IMO as Silva was in this weight class prior to his defeat, he was the world champion for God sakes... I think your just a little over zealous over this kid , and yes he's a kid like many others that are special, that will take his lumps and probably be better for it, but he certainly is beatable my others his age!

    Don't like your logic although I agree with your pick, but logic like yours suggest that maybe only the top 4 kids ranked by whatever poll show up because #10 verses #1 is a mismatch. We wrestle the matches for a reason, and I would think you've been around long enough to realize the ignorance of such a bizarre statement

    The smartest football coaches are in college and the NFL and most love to get wrestlers on their teams, and recruit and draft accordingly. The reason young wrestlers are generally very good and more physical then their classmates is simply, because they have experienced a contact sport that requires man on man toughness, and lets face it wrestlers are simply a different breed and generally tougher than others!

    Oh yes he was in danger and some thought he was stuck, and when you give up 3 near fall that in itself says you were in danger, but I was there and many folks were calling for a fall! I think Angel was better but anyone can get caught, especially against another talented wrestler.

    Here we go again Coach M opening up that can of worms using that nasty R word (recruiting)! Nobody has been recruiting for some time now, lets face it kids and parents were finding the right program, situation or however you wish to describe it for a long time now. As far as I'm concerned the only people complaining were the programs or people who weren't attractive enough to anyone to draw such consideration and simply chose to cry foul instead of finding a way to step up and compete! Talented kids want to be part of winners, and people that can help them get to where they're aspiring to go. So if you weren't one of those places that's on you and or your program, but don't degrade a program people flock to for whatever reason. Delta, Roncalli, Jimtown, and EMD are a few smaller schools that got it done without the masses living in their backyard. Let that R word go, and those days are long gone, and its much like Costner's movie (Field Of Dreams)" build it and they will come "! JMO

    That lateral at the end was in the state finals against Scott Wilson who won state the following year, so understand the quality of wrestler he could hit it on!

    He had the best lateral I've ever seen most hit it while their opponent pushes into them, but Lance could hit it anytime he had a overhook because his hips were sooo good, and I think there is no doubt with 4 state titles and 177-0 with a 85% pin percentage we can call him the best high school wrestler Indiana has seen!

    I sure did and originally had them but decided on WC, but they would have been my very next team, and they're the reason I said I hope I have the winner listed. lol

    The masses have spoken and the order of the voting is: 1) Perry Meridian 54% (overwhelming favorite) 2) Cathedral 18% (a virtual tie with that other catholic school) 3) EMD 17% (they're back) 4) Penn 4% (underrated IMO) 5) Warren Central 4% (making the Marion county tourney & PM regional absolutely loaded)
