  1. Y2cj41 you are right posters on here do not realize how much thier comments motivate these wrestlers instead of intimidate them. The problem I find is that alot of times the posts do put unwanted pressure on the "under dog" from people on the outside who only know what they see on the mat.
  2. First of all I want to say I feel sorry for what has happened to both these young men. First a senior being dq and then the harrasssment the sophmore has had to endure. But I can tell you people who say Willis was "faking" because he was able to show up at the finals dont have a clue. Willis did what most wrestlers going for a title would do and show up for the finals. I remember last year at the DAC Sean suffered the same injury in the semis but was able to wrestle in the finals. Was he in pain? Oh yea but he is a wrestler and you suck it up and go on. Over the past 4 years Sean has also had to endure the negative comments made by people on this message board. I will have to say some were right on track and helped him grow up and take fault for his wrong doing but others were down right hurtful. These athletes deserve some respect, we may not always agree with them but we are suppose to be the adults that these kids learn from. So how do you expect these kids to react when adults are bashing and booing them? Tyler hopefully you will take the comments (both positive and negative) for what they are worth and learn how to be the better man. 8)
  3. Thanks a bunch.. I have to go to the other side of Indy for a yellow ribbon ceremony for my other son TJ, who served last year in Iraq, on Saturday morning.. Again thanks for the info.
  4. Very nice article.. Sometimes it takes something to open your eyes.. Good Luck at state and at Purdue Ryan... The McMurrays will be watching you in college and wish you the best of luck!
  5. Stop making excuses.. The Cp fans were booing and Sean threw kisses to the crowd not the wrestler as you twisted it around. (both of which I frowned on) Oh what a twisted web we weave. lol
  6. Thats right I am ridiculous and you are the Queen of Denial. You are uncalled for! Being a coward hiding behind your name.
  7. No actually I was talking about last week. Thank you.. Trying to pull up old news Pitiful.. Let it go.
  8. Then I guess you would agree Adults booing a teenager should not be tolerated on any level.. That is what he was blowing kisses at! (Oh thats right he forgot to mention the part of the "adults booing")
  9. There was also a nice article in the times by Jim Peters on Zac
  10. They both had been talking smack all week to each other via facebook..
  11. I am very offended by your comments. I agree there was poor sportsmanship shown by both wrestlers. But you are way out of line with your comments to Sean or Anthony for that matter. Both are terrific wrestlers that wrestle with emotion that is why their matches are so hyped. Your "just once I would like to see only his talent do the talking"was out of line. For 4 years that is all you have seen from Sean and 1 time he loses his temper and you act like he makes a habit of it. Get off your high horse these are teenage boys who love the sport and dont need you to be their judge.
  12. Calumet High School Saturday, December 12th 16 teams total
  13. Thank you to all who have given their lives and those who continue to serve.. Thank YOU for our freedom.. Also Thank you Specialist Thattus J. McMurray US ARMY- serving in Iraq
  14. Caliboy189. Yes you have the right to your opinoin but I will take Sean McMurray at 160. All the reasons that you gave for thinking Tyler Willis would win state I could say for my son and probably most people could say for their favorites.. Sean has been wrestling since he was young and has been coached by some of the best coaches also, he practices all year round, competes nationally and is at the "next level". He knows what it takes get that championship.. But one thing I know you have wrong is "He works like no other" All of the elite high school wrestlers have worked like no other to get where they are. Just as you had your opinoin this was just mine.. Good luck at Conseco! P.S. I have known Sean a long time too! ;D
  15. Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful Fathers!
  16. Very True I think we should thank the volunteers for their time and patience.
  17. Not really sure, but alot of college recruiters were at Va. Beach. I was surprised at the # of Head Coachs. Some of the universities there were (and i'm sure I missed alot): Penn State Ohio State Indiana Illinois Wisconsin (Head Coach) Minnesota Iowa Iowa State (Cael Sanderson) Missouri Oklahoma State Oklahoma Hoffstra Lehigh Edinboro Old Dominion Ryder North Carolina NC State Maryland (Kerry McCoy-Head Coach) Virginia Va Tech Appalachian State UT-Chattanooga Harvard Stanford Princeton Yale Boise State And I could not even begin to list the D2 & other small schools that we saw there. Most of which I did not know.
  18. Good job, I was hoping it was that way
  19. hey Coach was that Sandefer pinned his guy or got pinned.. Sry sometimes I need things spelled out... ???
  20. Congratulations to both teams of Indiana...
  21. I just love how quick witted you guys are ;D
