  1. I think the respect is there. He has him beating the #5 state rank at heavyweight in blood round. I feel for Noland but he got a crap draw getting Johnson in blood round. Noland is a specimen but very raw. 250lbs lean and quick.
  2. Go to the main page of the forum
  3. Do we know how the regionals will line up?
  4. some of the table workers forgot their audio was being recorded. LOL. some of the conversations were interesting and not kid friendly.
  5. It was definitely a decent crowd with all the sectionals and it being on TV. That elbow that DJ took looked intentional not saying it was but wow. Glad DJ held his composure.

  7. 17-16 purdue on top. 2 mds for purdue and 1 for iu
  8. Awful decision by the IU administration, but not unexpected. Monroe Co. is crazy with their overreach during covid.
  9. some of these challenges are a little ridiculous.
  10. Wow that ref in DJ's match wasn't very good either. Maybe the camera angle was off but it is a cylinder not a flat circle. He called the out of bound when Djs feet left the ground.
  11. I honestly think on the restart Heil thought there was a second or two left not the full 7 seconds. The commentators even ran a stop watch and said 6.9 of the 7 ran off. No way they should have put 7 back.
  12. Wow Heil from Campbell got screwed because the clock didnt start. Then they run it back and Lewellan got the 2 TD. You got to feel for Heil. He won that match.
  13. You speak truths here. I grew up in a very small community. My HS size was 500 kids now 19 years later it is closer to 400. I can't name one single sport varsity athlete at my old high school. I played 4 sports football, wrestling, track/baseball. I literally had 1 week off between sports. Summers were spent busting my butt working in the melon fields (80-100hours/week). I know many small schools kids can be phenomenal athletes and achieve great things but without quality partners in the room it really makes it hard to succeed and I don't think large schools will every understand this. Everyone will say to build a program from the bottom up, but success at the top (HS level) helps breed excitement at bottom. It is a vicious cycle. I understand the argument being made to level the first rounds of the state tournament. The smaller schools being brought up in this discussion seem to be near larger population centers mainly Indianapolis. I truly think the issue at small schools comes down to splitting time in other activities and quality partners.
  14. You do realize two dqs are being talkwd about at the same time?
  15. I laugh at another year of eligibility. Non-scholarship division means you need to fork out like 30k on tuition to come back to school. Either have best grades for grad school or a mom/daddy with lots of money.
  16. The 100% paid way as long as the school has great academics in the area I want to study.
  17. I saw Michigan wrestling posted on Twitter they were having feed issues
  18. The weight classes are not clickable
