    Will be an interesting season watching both squads develop. I’m hoping both improve in the Big ten conference. And show up at the nationals with some placers.

    I can see this being one criteria ,for starting spots, if wrestlers are pretty even in the room. But more often than not one guy will get get the best of another, most of the time ,practicing. I guess it is like dangling a carrot in front of a horse to keep it going. Baring injuries, coaches know who’s will be out there come Big Ten time.

    Politicians and politics will always be part of world competitions in sports. Always has. And will continue, like it or not. Some countries refuse to be nice to each other.

    Ok ,so we had the wrestle offs. May be meaning less. Can anyone tell me what the starting line up is going to be? Or who are the starters?

    Yea,weight wise I think he’ll be fine. Technique wise he’s ok and still learning. Match management he’s adjusting to college talent ,this is ongoing,and doing ok. NCAA’s a long season with conferences and conference championships, opens and such. Maybe not popular here but number of matches for wrestlers should be limited by the coaches. every wrestler is different but especially younger men new to the higher college level would benefit the first few years. To figure how much his body can take and avoid the injuries from such. You hate it at the tournament time guys are beat up and worn out.

    USA has a formidable woman’s world team. Japan is another great woman’s world team. No interest in Iran?
