    I chose to start a new topic because I felt the other thread was getting too negative and all I wanted were updates. (which weren't and did not happen in the other post until a day after) If you feel your comments were not rude I feel sorry for people that have to deal with you on a regular basis.

    Connor Knapp of East Noble at 106 only loss so far is to Kuhn (returning state qualifier) in the final seconds of the match.

    Agreed and well said. I think that the ref has to give the timeout and if a Doctors note cannot be presented at the time of an inhaler then the kid should be disqualified or points should be give to the other kid. If the kid just wants a breather and calls injury for it the ref has to give it because there could actually be something wrong with the kid but 1 point should be give to the other kid if not 2 points. I have seen it already a few times this year and I know a team that used to be notorious for getting out the inhaler.

    Warsaw and Wawasee were in our semi-state and in my opinion still should be. That is why if Brooks wins state this year we should claim him.

    I agree with Flighinstructor. That might be fine for the first year. But the goal should be at the end of the season. When teams are supposed to be firing on all cylinders. You don't have a championship in the middle of the season. Our schedule has Conference the weekend before Sectionals. The weekend before that makes sense to me. Or see if teams would be willing to move their Conference to 2 weeks before Sectionals and have it the weekend before Sectionals. Yes people will have to change their schedules but if they want to be a part of it (which I think they will if it is done right) then they will have to.

    Hmmm... Nothing personal but did you wrestle? Do you coach? Is this a real question? Wrestle the best beat the best. Ribbons are for 4H and pageants.

    Weekend before Conference. Top 8 teams in each class. Call it done.

    They would have to change that then. Pretty simple.

    I like the idea of taking the top 8 ranked teams and hosting it a certain day. What about the weekend before Conference? I know people have things scheduled already. But it is pretty simple, if we all agree that we want a team state then we change our schedules to leave that date open. That would give teams that aren't competing the chance to have a Saturday off, a day of practice, or a chance to go watch some good wrestling before the post season starts. I know allot of schools don't wrestle the opening weekend. Well maybe they need to change that and start their season a weekend earlier. Also with taking the top 8 ranked teams everyone will be watching the rankings more and that would put targets on those top ranked teams which would create some real exciting season match ups. I can just picture a number 9 or 10 ranked team wrestling a number 8 ranked team and the excitement just being huge and drawing a good crowd. I realize rankings aren't going to be perfect. But I would hope we can at least get the top 2 or so teams correct and the true State Champion team will prevail. If you want to have 3 classes then have 3 classes and you could have it one school or 3 different schools. Heck you could give an opportunity to one of the top 8 schools in those classes the chance to host it every year. Am I off base here? I could be missing something.

    I like it. But I think everyone is probably thinking the same thing. That would mean the IHSAA would have to make a change and we have not been very successful on that front. I am starting to think that IHSAA may not be the only problem that we have.

    I think good. All NBA teams should go bankrupt it is a worthless sport with a bunch of worthless overpaid althletes. But I am biased as all get out. (I'm short) It isn't going to matter they aren't going to tear Conseco down. Ownership may change and the name of it possibly but it will still be there and they will still probably take the money to host the IHSAA wrestling tournament there. Either way I hope all of the NBA goes under. Horrible role models anyways.

    From a technical stand point this could be a challenge. 1. Almost all home users external IP addresses change on a regular basis and you wouldn't want to block a block of IP addresses because you could affect some other people in his area that you actually want to allow to post. The IP addresses change somewhere in the range of once a month or two. 2. He could post from multiple locations. IE starbucks, work, or any other free WiFi spot. 3 He could be posting from his phone. 4. His son should not be punished for his actions. (Not technical but threw it in there anyways) Myself I get a kick out the guy.
