    Great for them, that's a wonderful accomplishment.. My good friend that was a 2x placer in the 90s Jeremy Motl told me that Hummel was one of the best big men to never win a state title.. I coached my guy against Bryce Baker and he was tough as well, congrats Zebras!

    I'd love to see a highlight of that, I was there and remember him launching the Original monster from Merrillville Dexter Larimore like he was a baby and stuck him... That was def 1 the most impressive runs ever, up there win a SilasAlreds, Bubba Dickerson and Parris' title runs at state titles.

    Keith Garrard vs Anderson's Nick Skinner Skinner kept Garrard from being a 4x conference champ.. They had numerous wars.. Garrard vs Nick Strub of East Central unreal wars over the years. Funkhouser Vs Eric Motl Eric Motl vs Kerkhoff also Nathan pickle vs Jon Fitch

    The year O'Brien inj def to 4th I can't remember his first round match though.

    Yes def in the Minnesota loss he was rode live I have never seen him be, I'm just glad he's out there laying it on the line and I know in FS he'll excelly regardless as well.

    No he was pinned by New Castles Terrell Coatie in the Semis and then inj def 3rd/4th place match.. He did have a lingering ankle injury going into semi state.

    Oh most def, he's unreal, just call tell the size/strength difference negates his technical advantage he usually has at a lower weight.

    My guy Carson drew Vanhorn first round regionals his sophmore year and lost 7-4, That regional you speak of got all 4 through the next weekend and had 6 top 25 ranked 170s in it, VanHorn,Stock, Ciccerelli and Hays all advanced to state with studs T Carson and Runyan not even making it out of regionals.
