  1. Anybody go to the finals the year they were at the NC Fieldhouse? I worder what that was like
  2. Just got word that on April 15th and whole bunch of former Stud wrestlers from Indiana will be fighting in Muncie..Brandon Wright,Conner Mullins,Devon & Dillon Jackson,Caleb hoots,Bryant Whitaker,Jason Gilliam vs JD Craft on the Main event..should be a doozy
  3. Mauer vs Rypel at a catch weight Dickerson vs Ruggeri 2 HW that pinned their way through state Parris vs Radnovich..why not? Red vs Angel Escobedo
  4. Bubba Dickerson was a animal @HW..He could get down
  5. Congrats to Silas and the rest of the champs..was a great tournament
  6. Cooks snap down was NASTY as well...he would come practice with us after he graduated and he treated my head like the Harlem Globe trotters bouncing it off the mat repeatedly lol
  7. Yeah he didn't bat and eye..I think the spectators and even the wrestlers who were watching were more shocked and in dismay lol..I didn't even know the kid but I was def stunned..Im no ref so my opinion is not worth a hoot but it was literally not even a second and the fall was called...I can't say I've seen a bunch of def pins but the ones I seen were nothing like that...it was a smooth ran toury though and I too appreciate all involved..we got 7 matches in 7 hours and would've been 8 if Beineke didn't have a unfortunate shoulder and concussion scare and had to injury def.
  8. Thanks for the kind words about Trizton and yes there was great wrestling going on @170 yesterday...Triz was sick during the week and started cramping bad vs Beinke and was literally having to pry his hands open that were locking up... Boland was tough as nails too...I look for the cadet at Jr's that competed yesterday day to be in the mix next year..Beineke and Stikes are both studs too...Stikes gave Jonah a good match and lost a very questionable match via Def pin to Drake baker..look forward to seeing the Culver kids next season they always bring it..
  9. Jason Cook was a ANIMAL as well...beat Jordan Humphrey who was unreal in his own right to capture his elusive title after being runner up twice
  10. Jaggers vs Level @ nc SS in 03'was dope..both shot blast doubles@ same time and luckily matt got the better of it..Jason was LIGHTENING FAST
  11. @170 Carson controls ticket rounder Washington 7-3
  12. Man what a huge bummer...Sadly last time I spoke to him in person was @Mrs Peckinpaughs funeral showing our respects...this is a huge loss to us all..R.i.p Big Guy
  13. I seen that too...@170 almost everybody had a bye..but Carson Vs Washington was supposed to be in round one..that's kids that finished hs season 30-5 vs 32-4 SS ranked kids...Now brackets vanished
  14. Nothing problemo..I like your threads btw
  15. @bluechipper was this what you was looking for?
  16. Eric Aue was Nails too..kind of fun fact Terrell Coatie who graduated from NC transferred to NC from Perry when his dad moved out of state for work and he came here to live with family..He was a Unreal athlete who didn't start wrestling til his freshman yr...He would've placed twice if he wouldve been released his jr year but only could wrestle team events late in season...His senior yr his pinned state champion Danny Williams and beat Runner Up Conkling of Mater Dei @team state as well..he placed 7th losing to Bellmonts Tim Ortiz in a crazy match..Terrell was a 3 sport All-State athlete and ran sub 4:30 mile..he would hit the sickest standing granbys ever and make good wrestlers look silly with his speed...he lost in ticket round iirc his first 2 yrs ever wrestling I do believe..
  17. This is great news...I'm really happy tyne little guy is healthy and will be a force no matter what he encounters..this def made him tougher and I guarantee he takes nothing for granted especially after this scary ordeal...Cheers to the good news
  18. That was AWESOME!...before my baby brother died and was on a tear finishing everybody in mma I had a similar message every time he fought..That it doesn't matter who he's fighting in the cage that if that same person were to try and harm his kids at Walmart he still would demolish them on the spot and that this setting is no different..It doesn't matter who, what, or where, your mind is your strongest weapon if it is sharp and clear..and through mental exercises like Randy Lewis used, it can raise you to heights you've never dreamed of...this type of thinking is what can get a kid who's been beat by the same kid many of times, motivation to over come that mental and physical block one can experience while feeling defeat numerous times..
  19. BTW it says the cut off for registration was @8:59 pm last night but ppl registered after that
  20. I see a Ethan Parris @HW and he's in 8th grade cadet as well
  21. I loved the team regionals and semi state..Got the juices going before individual tournament and loved the NC vs Yorktown wars for a few yrs
  22. You had team dual regionals during the week and individual regionals that saturday...
