  1. My son is in 7th grade at a charter school that only has basketball.
  2. Ok now I a lost (you must affiliated with a school) but if school B does not have a team you can wrestle with team A ??? I would just like for my son to wrestle in a dual setting like he did with club in Ele. Duals. He is still wrestling Club but there are no Club duals for MS. as most kids have the oppertunity to wrestle for school. I am not trying to start anything or stir anything up, just curious. Thanks
  3. WHAT IF YOUR IN MIDDLE SCHOOL BUT YOUR SCHOOL DOES NOT HAVE A WRESTLING TEAM OR YOUR HOME SCOOLED?
  4. I think there is a year round place Hoosier Elite in Bloomington but I might be wrong.
  5. Here are some more Alston Bane,Evan Ellis, Charlie Hill but like said earlier in this post ALL THESE YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN ARE CHAMPIONS JUST FOR STEPPING ON THE MAT ;D
  6. Lets hear some names I have a few but dont know everybody. My picks are both Crary boys,Trey Lane,Aiden Warren, Justice Cash, CJ Red, Demi Allen,Tyce Freige, Nathen Walton,Brayton Lee,Dakota Short,Paul Konrath and I know there are many more young studs out there but my mind went blank. ???
  7. Congrats Charlie Baker and all other individual champions ;D
  8. Is this a team or individual event? If individual are middle schoolers from charter schools allowed?
  9. Lets all try to keep in mind that Greenwood is a fairly new club, I think this is only thier second or third tournament and only hope that the club's board, coaches, and parents continue to try and Improve on running a tournament properly. There are alot of resources out there is they would take advantage of them. Franklin puts on some of the best tournaments around, also Brandi cash is a great resource for organizing a tournament , or the ISWA is also very active in helping with tournament planning and how to run a great tournament. Keep your heads up G'wood and good luck in the future. ;D
  10. Congrats !!! Glad to see Ind. kids doing well on national level.
  11. What city or town are you in or near?
  12. Mat time is great but explain that to the kids wrestling why the get a pin called against them with 3 sec left and one shoulder 2 inches off the mat, I'm sure that the same HS wrestler (ref) would be upset if this was called against him in a Duel. As far as more money the the TRAINED officials dont make that much to offset too much. Great tournament for a great cause. I am not bashing this event just that if you wrestle in surrounding states the "almost" always have real stripes.
  13. Great tournament over 600 wrestlers started on time out in time for Colts (SUPUR BOWL BOUND COLTS) . My only complaint is the same as most iswa tournaments this year kid officials (some were great others didn't have a clue), and faxed weigh ins we all know some parents and coaches fib (you all know who you are) but other than that great job Franklin.
  14. This was a great tournament last year as is the Tennessee experience, I would recommend this tournament and the chance to represent Indiana in TN.
  15. Congrats to all Indiana teams you all represented Indiana well with great wrestling and class. It was awesom to see the In teams cheering on each other (when not wrestling each other) Indiana and the wrestling communitry should be proud of you.
  16. Got mine last week, maybe the pony express hasn't made it to you yet but nice photo of your kid RVQ ;D
  17. I agree that waiting 4 a picture and paying out more is not worth it , but if you have qualifiers to make it to state the tournament would not last as long and the ISWA would not lose out on money due to more people at Regionals ,sectionals etc.than u can get the photo with possibly all the matches at state being quality matches( not a tripple crown vs a beginner at state.
  18. Great job to all Indiana teams and coaches and congratsz to the All Americans.
  19. Last night at Red Cobra there was 4 or 5 kids 10-13 yr old fro about 115-140 lbs great work out partners including 3 state placers. Coach Red does a great job with the kids and the intensity is greatfor beginners and the experienced. With kids coming from as far as Richmond and Brownsburg 2-3 time a week and the number of Sate Champs and State Placers in the room makes it great to suppliment any club training or a home for someone without a club.
