  1. Well maybe no so much in Willie's FloRankings he said on a resent episode of FloRadio that he doesn't put much consideration into these results based on it being such a long three day event with intermittent times between bounds. He also pointed out the short periods As an issue. He give similar logic to any Disney Dual results as well. So for his logic their may only be a very small jump in the FloRankings from this showing.
  2. N. Goofy was another projected finalist. The Highrollers are definitely earning their placement in this one.
  3. Maybe we will get to see a Catalina Mixer-Upper!
  4. . Well some of the Dagistan Russian wrestlers aren't doing much at the moment. You could have formed team Gorilla International to take down the mighty Kong.
  5. 1st period lots of positioning off of Mason's attacks but no score. 2nd Schultz got an escape the Parris got a takedown 3rd Schultz was on top at start of 3rd and tried to roll Parris through for back points with a head and arm but he got in bad position. Mason was able catch Schultz by his head and the leg which stalled him on his back to get the pin. That's a big statement for Mason not so much the catch pin, as that he had the lead prior on a TD and was in on a few other attacks during the match.
  6. Yes Schultz at 220 is a talent. The only competition I've even seen him have is against fellow underclassman super stud Gable Stevson. Gable won that one.
  7. 220 and HWT have the potential to be some great matches between some of the better big men at this event. Larson and Parris will definitely get a chance to see how they stack up against top national competition.
  8. With the list of top talent Kong has amassed from around the nation they are projected finalist. Hopefully the Highrollers can show them some solid wrestling grown in the Hoosier state. Looks like they are up now on Mat 11. Flo has lots of mats covered, but location who is where take some Where's Woldo skills.

    Indy 500

Sage crashed into the wall 95 laps into the race, so his day is done. He was in a top 10 spot at the time. He seems to walk away from the crash without a major issue.
  10. No shame in taking it on the chin to Nauman Goofy. Many teams will this weekend since they are projected to be of the top 5 teams in this years competition. The High Rollers also getting some talk so hopefully they can prove they are capable of hanging with some of the major "all-star" teams that were compiled for this event.
  11. If I recall from the video I saw, there were a few people holding guns when the groups were confronting each other. At least cooler heads prevailed in that issue.
  12. It's Russia so I'm not suprised something crazy happened at a wrestling event. Maybe two years back they had a brawl between coaching staffs that turned into a crowd fight. At a junior or cadet event about a month ago they had a multiple coaches/parents pull guns in each other. If all that happens is a protest by one region that stops the competition then I'd say they are handling it relatively calmly at the moment. But, I wouldn't be suprised if something occurs later too if they feel slighted again. They take their combat sports seriously in Russia, especially around Dagestan.
  13. Miracle makes the Junior Women's Worls Team.
  14. Lydy loses to Massa. Basically finished tied for 5th in the Challenge Tournament.
  15. Gross came out on top in a few scrambles and ended up teching Lee. I believe that puts Lee 3rd overall after Gross and McKee. Miracle makes UWW Junior Women's Finals. Lydy vs Massa to make Challenge Match 3rd place match.
  16. N. Lee over Lamont by criteria 4-4 to make challenge finals. He will face South Dakota States Seth Gross who was previously with the Iowa Hawkeyes. Challenge tournament winner will then face Minnisota's Mitch McKee to make the world team
  17. N. Lee in the semi-Finals of the Challenge Tournament vs T. Lamont. D. Lydy battling in the back-side of the tournament for placement. K. Miracle in the semi-Finals of the Junior Womens Trials Challenge Tournament.
  18. Are we sure they attended the 2 qualifying events in order to make the team, or are some slipping through undetected? I kid....I kid.
  19. http://www.flowrestling.org/article/41921-andrew-howe-leaving-oklahoma-for-northwestern Looks like Oklahoma is losing some good practice partners, as Cody Brewer also announced he's going to train at the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club.

UFC just announced season 24 is a go and will feature Flyweights coaches by Henry Cejudo and Joseph Benevidez. Word is they will not have tryouts and will just hand pick the fighters based on resume and the recomendations from the major coaches/gyms.
  21. Nice. Although some people doubt Molinaro's ability against tough international competition, he did showed in the final last change qualifier that he was the most deserving of making the game of those who had not yet qualified. I'm glad to see that the UWW saw it that way too.
  22. Maybe somewhat true but some technicalities have let us send a full team after the fact: We didn't qualify Zadicks weight for Bejing but he got in at the last second due to some crazy events. Frank Molinaro may also sneak his weight into the Olympics after the fact due to finishing 3rd at the last chance event. The Ukrainian representatives who qualified is possibly getting pulled for doping which may give him the open spot due to how everything played out with other competitors. So freestyle may still get one more in.
  23. I believe I read somewhere that some countries may have not sent representatives to the first qualifier due to the date proximity it had to the European Championship event.
