  1. It should be noted that inductee Dick Neal is more widely known as THE ANCIENT ELDER!
  2. The Ancient Elder was inducted into the Hall of Fame during the ceremony at Greenwood Sunday 17 Feb 2012! A well earned honor to the deserving RICHARD NEAL!
  3. I remember watching Mike at the State Finals in the mid 70's held at Southport High School.
  4. Berne Tri Weekly News stated they will telecast the Fort Wayne Semi-state on their WEBCAST site. They did an excellent job at the Jay County Regional. BTWN Berne Indiana.
  5. Should be a good event as two skilled teams from Adams County meet in an ACAC Dual. South Adams is located in Berne Indiana just off US 27 Hwy.
  6. Drew Butler at 195 lbs for Bellmont not Brister.
  7. Will there be any Mop Wielding, Mat Wiping segments in Brandon's Broadcasts???
  8. Finals now streaming on WZBD. 92.7FM in NE Indiana.
  9. Yorktown defeated by Elkhart Memorial 43-28!
  10. At New Haven the Leo Lions and Yorktown Tigers were Knotted at 40-40 and Yorktown won on the 8th criteria, most first points scored 12-10! Sorry, I do not have the individual match scores.
  11. I would suggest "BigBraveFan1" to be among the most knowledgable and she has some mat time to go along with that knowledge.
  12. We are fortunate Mike Goebel is doing the commentary. Wish A J Kalver was there with him.
  13. JOHN FRIEDT Was and forever will be a Major factor in the Legacy of Bellmont Wrestling. The memories of John will continue to endure in the lives of all who knew him as a Coach and Friend who had no enemies. Wrestling lost one of it's greatest contributors today. Rest IN Peace JOHN. Heartfelt sympathys to Mary and the family. UncleSam Roger H Cole
  14. Right on Jeff. The tradition of Bellmont Wrestling is most enduring. The program has maintained a level which no other High School in Indiana can match! Several schools have more State Champion individuals or Team Championships but those programs have not achieved the longevity of the Bellmont program. Consider the overall success at Mishawaka year after year as a barometer. As coach Giessler stated, many years ago, when asked if Bellmont Wrestling was a matter of life or death, "it's more important than that."!!!!! Many thanks to all the Bellmont Wrestlers of today and yesteryear and the Coaching staff that has made everything happen. UncleSam
  15. Some people feel that "the Franklin to Yorktown" is an illegal move!
  16. I would submit the name of Bellmont's Brent "BJ" Faurote as one of Indiana's winningest active Coaches. Coach Faurote surpassed the Five Hundred (500) win mark at the Bellmont Super Duals 8 Jan 2011. There was no Fanfare or celebration. It was just another day on the mat for the Bellmont wrestlers, Coaches and Matmob! CONGRATULATIONS COACH FAUROTE
  17. NHC triple dual at E Noble Bellmont Dekalb Norwell
  18. Webcast working well and so are the Starfires!
  19. Sorry Andy but the members of this site are more interested in debating class wrestling, class ranking, past postings and anything but a sensible topic like scheduled events, starting times and locations. To put it in a military vernacular of the 50's, 60's , and early 70's; Disapproved. Resubmit in 90 days!
  20. Maddog Do you mean it is the second time the Ref Did it?
  21. You may add DENNIS HAYS former Bellmont Coach to the list of former Al Smith wrestlers who coached. Hays compiled a 123-19-2 (85.45%) record as coach of the Braves from1979 thru 1988!
  22. Hmmm, Guess this a form of class wrestling, allowing 8thgrade class, 7thgrade class 6th grade class!!!
  23. You can call me Ray You can call me J You can call me Ray J You can call me Johnny But you doesn't have to call me Johnson!
