I heard something that Yorktown is at the Tom Cameron this year at Merrillville, anyone got any info on that? If so, then there looks to be a couple good matchups. 103- #1 Stevens v. #16 Bevans 125- #6 Napules v. #3 Bevans 130- Valdivia v. #8 Jackson 171- #15 Wengel v. #14 Castner 285- #1 Travis v. #3 Janney (A rematch from Friday Night last year I believe) What are your thoughts on this if this match actually does happen?

It'll be interesting to see if merrillville does any bumping around. They have been known to wrestle straight up though..In order to have a chance I think they will have to make a few switches in their lineup

my guess would be merr and MD would wrestle in either 2nd or 3rd because they are both in the gold division.. that would be a pretty nice matchup..

I know they wrestled last year at the Oakville (MO) Tournament...Do they both still go and if they do, does anyone know if they're scheduled to wrestle each other? i do believe that tournament is this weekend

at HWT for key wins for James Travis from merrillville you can put Eddie Castillo from IL...Castillo finished 2nd at the Dvorak tournament in IL losing 6-5 in the finals to Curtis Blaydes (ranked 2nd in IL @ 3A)

i cant wait to see that heavyweight match with fitzgerald and travis..i heard James Travis beat the kid who got 2nd at the Dvorak tourney in IL -
this series wasn't between two outstanding wrestlers but i believe they wrestled 6 times over the course of the season..Carlo Martinez (merrillville) and Ben Williams (chesterton) 2 years ago wrestled at the Tom Cameron, Al Smith, Their Dual Meet, DAC Tourney, Team Semi-State, and then Individual Semi-State..i believe they were both 3-3 but Ben picked up the win when it mattered..like i said, not the best wrestlers but it was a fun match to watch
