  1. Are the duals all away meets or are will locations be announced later?
  2. Always the calm and well spoken winner or loser, though normally the winner. Congrats Andrew!
  3. Depending on what year you're looking at there are anywhere between 1 and 9 starting with Uu, so the question is a little suspect.
  4. 1- Q nor J appear on the Pediodic table 2- Leave it to Beaver is the 1st show to air part of a toilet, in 1957 they aried the tank portion on a toilet. I think "All in the Family" was the 1st to let us hear a toilet flushing. However what is truely odd is that the 6 Brady kids shared a bathroom, and no toilet was ever seen. As a chemistry teacher I feel obligated to say that J is the only letter not appearing on the periodic table. Q appears in element 114, Uuq which is ununquadium.
  5. I'll be there too, should be a great match with all Wisconsin's young guys. Are their recruits on the website yet for next year?
  6. Any chance there will be video of this either online of on TV?
  7. I would like to see Coach Peck in a match. Since they're in the state, I'll say Leroy Vega and Scott Hinkle too.
  8. That may be true, a benchwarmer is technically "participating" in the team. The IHSAA may have to clarify this further.
  9. Wow, that's an academically and athletically gifted group. They seem heavy in the 133/141 range, I hope Taylor gets some good varsity time up there. Congrats!
  10. That's dedication to a goal, amazing.
  11. An excellent choice! Will he be a 3 sport athlete there as well.
  12. I'm glad I got Uverse, it's been a lifesaver with the DVR and all the sports channels.
  13. Great adds, I'm liking the RSS feeds.
  14. Wow, we're looking really tough out there.
  15. What areas does the New England team pull from? I see some of the states I would consider part of New England have their own teams.
  16. I went to a DIII school and was a 2 sport athlete, as were a lot of students. There are a few, rare, 3 sport athletes. Just to add some confusion to the mix...
  17. I really was impressed with the turn around Garrett has made recently. Coming from the farmlands that feed into "Da Region" I know how hard it is for a small rural program. Keep up the good work.
  18. Best quote of the entire discussion!
  19. Y2, I agree with you on class wrestling. In spite of what manvswild says small programs and coaches have to work much harder to retain their talent and work with much less depth. You had a good group of kids this year. Most of the people who want class wrestling aren't doing it for selfish reasons. Enough ego boosting?
  20. I think it's a great idea, do we need to write a proposal and send it to the coach's association or is there another way these are handled?
  21. I should have planned for more huge upsets, this is insane. Definitely did not see Lewnes going down.
  22. This is going off of 3-4 of the guys I met when I lived over there, so it may have changed. I would rather see an academic focus for the school choice, sports can only get you so far in life. The smartest guys with some good coaching tend to make really good wrestlers.
