    Has the marketing committee contacted any businesses/organizations to see if they will donate/support the event? If we are going to enlist random volunteers to solicit donations, it would be nice to know who has and has not been contacted.

    The IHSAA doesn't always hold their State Finals in a central location. Boys and Girls Track State Finals: Bloomington Boys and Girls Cross Country: Terre Haute Volleyball: Muncie Gymnastics: Muncie The Fort Wayne Memorial Coliseum has hosted the Girls Basketball State Finals in the past. I feel like the venue is crucial for this type of event. The Coliseum is a great venue for this event. I don't think that a high school is the ideal venue for an event of this nature. I understand that travel is an issue and a concern, but this is really a huge step forward for this event.

    This is really a great step forward for the IHSWCA Team State! This is a great venue to hold a wrestling event of this magnitude. Awesome work Coach McCormick!

    I'm thinking that you have 18 total scheduling points. I believe that a 2 day tournament is still 2 points along with any event that includes more than 1 match. I believe the 4 dual requirement is also still in place.

    When are the NCAA brackets released? I thought that I read somewhere that it's Wednesday, but I can't re-find it

    I did receive the survey.........the items listed on the survey were the items that are being proposed to the IHSAA? Who are the nominees for VP?

    Coach Skinner, I posed this question on a previous thread.......you mentioned that you are the next IHSWCA President.......who are the other newly elected IHSWCA officers? Also, it was mentioned at the state finals that this is an IHSAA proposal year for the IHSWCA. I didn't receive the email that indicated what the IHSWCA is proposing...could you share this information on here?

    Cool. Has anyone that randomly spouts off about the subject..........and especially those that mention a "watered down" tournament, actually looked at the information including the pdf on page 1? If not.....take a gander.......think about it..........research it.........expand your noggin a little bit......see what happens. In my opinion, it's doesn't look so watered down.

    It's not a sport of glory?? lol Have you ever been to the State Finals? More people watching more kids at the State Finals is just a terrible thing...........that's why kids wrestle.....for the glory......Having double the amount of kids experiencing that glory would surely increase interest. I don't know how you could deny that
