    They brought a group down to west central two years ago. This has been news for a while now. Had a few really athletic and strong kids! Watch out Northern Indiana! Best of luck to you guys

    Bell (South Newton) vs Molebash (Culver Comm) should be an interesting one at 171 if they come to wrestle the first round. Small school ticket round..not something we see every year. I predict a barn burner with Bell winning a tight one!

    Yeah the ref was counting injury time during his sprint to the bathroom. And Bell didn't wrestle well at all today and i'm sure he knows it. It's going to be very interesting seeing what he can do with the "big boys" next week as well as all the logansport regional guys. Some very, very competitive matches today. Good day of wrestling and worth the TWO hour drive through 31 mile snow drift. I love winter

    They did win it last year. I've seen them a few times and didn't really seem to match up with Pioneer all that well. Like last year, it will take loads and loads of help from Caston, North White, South Newton, Frontier, etc. One bad day could make you or break you. WC is very young also and have a very strong sophomore class coming up. I wouldn't say the Trojans are out of it yet. I know they were itching for another dual with Pioneer and Twin Lakes yesterday but was cancelled because of the snow. Late January will be fun.

    Thats too bad. Very exciting match to watch. Preston wasn't too impressive at sectionals last year but seemed to be on his high horse the week after. Hope Johnson stays 112.

    Nethercutt went 8-1 losing to Moore against FC.

    WHOA..He'd be a pretty tough fight for anyone. Those stubs are gonna give some black eyes! But he'll be very vulerable to the low kicks..that'll be interesting

    Is Travis' dad as big as Mr. Larimore's? Just curious... He's the only guy i could spot on the opposite side at conseco. I'd see some purple shirts, then i would see the Giant purple people eater.

    This always gets brought up...so why not?! Better get there early if you want a decent seat. Adding fourth place finishers from regionals will make this more of a madhouse than what it already is. Think about it...fans AND wrestlers are already packed in like sardines. 56 guys doesn't sound like a big deal but wow. I can't even imagine how things will be. Each of the 4th placer's family along with coaches could make it ten times worse.. maybe they'll think about moving it to some place bigger and more crowd friendly next season but hopefully they will keep the mouth watering chocolate chip muffins ;D.

    Bell from South Newton is still unbeaten. Also Minix from Winamac has one loss coming from Daniel Young earlier on in the year. Bell is a beast on his feet..if he can get past McCoy from McCutcheon him and atwood should meet in the finals at logansport. Great two tests for him.

    The lock up comment meant that Floyd and Atwood will run through regionals. I haven't seen Kepner wrestle, honestly. I do know that if Kaufman wrestles like he did saturday, he'll tie the series up with him and make it happen. Those picks were made before sectionals..Rowe needs prayers.

    Thank you DROOKE! Heck..i'll remember it for a lifetime and i graduated a year ago. Heres a good story for ya..I was told when the wrestlers arrived back to the school they walked through the gym to get back to the wrestling room. While a basketball game was going on they received a standing ovation from the west central crowd..most of the fans didn't even know wrestling sectionals were going on that day i'm sure. Must have been the proudest moment for coach Nielson and Wall. Some of the kids that didn't qualify for individual wrestling were not aware of the fact that they had at least one more chance to wrestle this season. It may be a david and goliath match (delphi) but i know each and everyone of them will be working their tail off these next two days and give it 100% like they did yesterday. I'm so proud of you guys and you 15 guys are the only reason i wish i was still in high school. And to Ginger Gella..you have helped this team out tremendously this season. You gave up a spot to let your workout parnter wrestle at 119 at sectionals even after you beat him in wrestle offs because you thought he'd help the team more. Your a prime example of what teamwork is all about! DONT BE SATISFIED.

    AGREED..NW has got some studs. I can't wait til tomorrow..prolly won't be able to sleep tonight..I feel like i'm wrestling again >

    Things will get interesting. Looks like these next two saturdays won't be a let down afterall.. I agree about atwood..the guy is on a misson..watch out conseco!!
